Question Developing a new 15p eSeverius roster for noob tournament

Faction: epic Serverius - The Northern Crusade
    Casters: 1/1
    Points: 15/15
    Tiers: 1
    Hierarch Severius (*6pts)
    * Blessing of Vengeance (7pts)
    * Templar (7pts) BONDED
    * Hierophant (2pts)
Choir of Menoth (Leader and 3 Grunts) (2pts)
    The Wrack (3 wracks) (1pts)
    Vassal of Menoth (2pts)

The idea is to have plenty of focus to feed up Templar and at the same time have enough to fling boosted hexblasts and finger-shooting. Vassal is going to walk with Templar, wrack are for focus and going to try blocking LOS with them(or its impossible? I don't remember and don't have rulebook near to me)

Anti infantry - feat and reign of fire(Sev's shooting)
Anti heavy - bonded Templar with Vassal, and as a last resort BoV with powerfull charge...

Howerever after some brain work there are some things that started to worry me. First - I don't know will it be actualy enough damage for 15 points? Hierofant, vassal and wracks are all non combat buggers. Second - never played against Eiriss (PARADOX!!!! when I see others' games she is everywhere!), but reading her abilities and stats tells me that as soon as she is on table this roster is screwed. Am I wrong?

If you could comment and give more advices on my thoughts and composition and possible changes of the roster I will be very gratefull.

*The only units I have so far is Choir and DAughters of the flame - both my Bastions and Errants turned out defective upon opening of the box -_-

**Something also tells me that mass stealth will deal me unbelievable pain

***There is a strange whisper in my head, sounds like "deliverer sunburst crew!"...

Hey, I personally love eSevvy, but I run him a bit differently. IMO, I don't think he needs extra focus, he simply doesn't need it for a lot and he already starts with 8. So I would drop the wracks and Hierophant. Also, while you like an arc node in his lists, BoV doesn't really bring anything needed to the table. So you could switch that to a revenger and get another point back, but I really like a Guardian with him (I know, I know, pricey), becuase it will give you another heavy hitter. At 15pts, you need some punchey, especially if you run up against a Khador list.

I would suggest something like this:

    eSevvy
    Guardian 9
    Templar 7
    Choir 2
    Vassal 2
    Mechanik 1

This would give you 2 guys at POW 19 (w/choir), and more durability. Alternatively, you could drop the vassals and grab a KE Senny for more hitting power, or drop them and switch the Templar for 2 crusaders. Lots of options and I am just spitballing now.

or you could go crazy and just run:

    eSevvy
    Templar 7
    Templar 7
    Crusader 5
    Choir 2

Hope this gave you some things to think about.

Nice ideas really. However, I dont have guardian, revenger, vasmech or a third heavy jack kit(got two), so I need to make up something else.

    What I have:

    Reckoner
    PoM Heavy Jack Kit
    Pom Heavy Jack Kit(#2)
    Daughters of the Flame
    Harbinger of Menoth
    Avatar of Menoth
    Redeemer
    Blessing of Vengeance
    Choir of Menoth
    eSeverius
    High paladin Dartan Vilmon
Paladin of the order of the wall
Paladin of the order of the wall (#2)
    Vice Scrutator Vindictus
    Vassal of Menoth
    Nicia, Tear of Vengeance
    Fire of Salvation
    Wracks
    Covenant of Menoth

    Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor
    Rupert Carvolo, Piper of Ord
    Gorman di Wulfe, Rogue Alchemist

Well if you do Tier, you can't use...

    Reckoner
    PoM Heavy Jack Kit
    Pom Heavy Jack Kit(#2)
    Daughters of the Flame
    Harbinger of Menoth
    Avatar of Menoth
    Redeemer
    Blessing of Vengeance
    Choir of Menoth
    eSeverius
    High paladin Dartan Vilmon
Paladin of the order of the wall
Paladin of the order of the wall (#2)

    Vice Scrutator Vindictus
    Vassal of Menoth
    Nicia, Tear of Vengeance
    Fire of Salvation

    Wracks
    Covenant of Menoth

    Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor
    Rupert Carvolo, Piper of Ord
    Gorman di Wulfe, Rogue Alchemist

    So that doesn't leave much...

    Maybe...

    eSevvy
    Templar 7
    Crusader 5
    BoV 7
    Choir 2

not sure... that would run ok actually, just a little light on anti-infantry, but you are probably going to be seeing more jacks anyway.

    Non-tier....

    eSevvy
Reckoner 8 (good target for holy ward)
    Crusader 6
    Choir 2
    Vassal 2
    Vilmon 3

    or...

    eSevvy
    Reckoner 8
    Vanquisher 8
    Vassal 2
    Choir 2
    Wracks 1

Tier is not a requirement, I just thought about templars. I really like the two last variants, however I think I would change Vilmon for Nicia - every time I play Vilmon he is a dead meat.

lol, yeah true, but at 15 pts, being immune to everything but magic might be nice. Nicia is a great choice though, either one will serve you well.

On my last tornament, for 3 games Nicia killed a warlock(dont remember wich one, some doomshaper), turned a fresh Gorgon into a wreck marker with a single charge and quickworked leader of stormfall archers after it, ruined the whole cryx battleplan by killing ragman and half of satixis raiders unit, including solo and attach(Sevys feat helped her on it, keeping them busy for 1 turn). This makes choice for me =) All that Vilmon did for 3 games was killing the last poor satixis raider, two other games he was torn apart by single nightwretch blast and stuffed with arows by MHSF.

lol ok well i would do something like this

    esevvy +6
    Reckoner -8
    Blessing of Vengeance -7
    choir -2
    vassal of menoth -2
    Gorman -2

Reckoner plus ward is def 14 against ranged no spells blessing can get to 14 def as well. Reckoner also gives you a speed 5 range threat and awareness assassination option if you roll well. Bov is a definite must hex blast pow 15 is just nice and since he lost spell ward himself arc node is a definite yes especially with a ranged attack.
