Default New England Team Tournament 2012 - coverage

    Hi Everyone,

The New England Team Tournament 2012 is TOMORROW! If the wifi at the hotel cooperates, I'll be putting updates on lists, standings, and photos here and on the NEPrivateers.com web site. With luck, we might even get some video to share. Anyway, here's the first taste to get things rolling for tomorrow. The teams as they stand now:

Danger Apartment, MA - The Defending Champions
Temple Games I, RI - Eric Dietsch, Derek Anderson, and Tom Goddard*
Temple Games II, RI - Jeff Wowkowych, Matt Cole, and Roger Buteau*
Electric Death Dragon, MA - Allan Knowles, Jake Lieberman, and Matt Arnold
Burly Fruit, VT - Jordon West, Nick Curtis, and Will Adams
Regular Team, MA - Greg Harrison, Andrew Gabrielson, and Matthew Jandreau
Boiler Dump, MA - Sean Macdonald, Paul Calder, and Rich Bourque
Easy Button, MA - Jeremiah Snader, Dan Welsh, and Chuck
A Troll, A Beastman, and a Pony, VT - Solomon lapell-Kuni , Jason Rodriguez , and Aaron Lester
Dark Omen, CT - Steve Sharnick, Anthony Ferraiolo, and Matt Kozikowski
Mendoza Line, RI - Tucker Saglio, Adam Copeland, and Brooks Saglio
Berger's *****es, CT - Pat McKeon, Don latozas, and Alex buganski
Team TSA, MA - Eddie, Cyril, and Andrew (they're the TSA, were you really expending they'd give last names?)
Hidden Tryx, MA - Daniel Barboza, Wade Viera, and James Hanrahan
Team Komitatus, NY - some lineup changes for a mystery team

The Three A-Nemos, MA - Julio, Nathaniel, and Sam

    * Yeah, the local guys are out in force. This line-up may change as I heard there were going to be some last-minute changes to the roster.

For the Temple Games Teams, Eric and Roger had to drop out due to exenuating circumstances. Jeff has moved to Temple Games I, and I am being joined on Temple Games II by Andrew and David, two relative newcomers to the scene. We're super excited for the tourney!

Bummed I won't be there to help defend the title. Good luck Team DA!

Unfortunately The Three A-Nemos were forced to change our name to Team Hobby Bunker by the allure of free t-shirts. In XL only, which means mine's like wearing a tent, but still. I was rooting for DJ Razzle-Dazzle And The Razzle-Dazzlers, but I was outvoted. Democracy sucks.

Oh, and our last names are Julio Esperas, Nathaniel Diamond-Jones, and Sam Barrows.

The fact that this event sold out so fast, I would not be surprised that this event could end up being a national event. If tables and space permit! Have been following this event for 3 years now. One day I will attend.

Good luck all, roll In the good times. I for one will be watching this thread in anticipation.

Looking very much forward to the coverage.

    Regards,
    Sam

You keep saying that Sam. We need to get you over here. BTW, if I can convince my Flip to work for me, do you have a place I can upload a video to so that G&G can stream it with the world?

sittin at home sippin a drink, wondering if I should drive over just to play cheerleader for the RI boys...
Warjack technology is considered sacrilegious by the menoth faithful.
to justify their use, each jack is extensively blessed and engraved with holy scripture:
"Imagine how that process went with the judicator, the thing has flamethrower nipples..."
And may the heretics draw deeply upon the cleansing fire sprung forth from Menoth's holy teets!

Yes, you should. And you should bring models. We've got 15 teams plus Charlie looking for two guys to fill out team #16 before round two starts.

for what it's worth, round one started about 15 minutes ago, so round two should start at about 1pm.

Team Danger Apartment turns in their first win against the TSA.

Apparently, even bringing an X-ray machine and a bunch of guys for pat-downs couldn't save Sorscha from Barnabus.
