Yeah! That's my Mulg and my Long Riders in the pictures! Also, an edit is that Team Boiler Dumpers was Sean, Paul and Jon Marginson. That was an early draft of the team.

Nice to a lot of local faces out in force; I'm sad I missed it this year. Hope y'all had fun!

Whoo, what a day. That was a really awesome event, the best I've been to save for Templecon. Thanks again to the organizers and the genius who though of bringing cookies. I have box of left over of chocolate chips next me. That was 4 great rounds against fantastic opponents, and it was really cool to see all the local communities and clubs come together and play. All 4 of my games were either against guys from clubs in the surrounding area and/or friends I rarely see or play against, so each round was extra fun because of that. I'm the guy that lost Terminus to Matt's Feral turn 2, so I've got an axe to grind with him next time we meet. I really can't say enough about how amazing a tournament this was, and how much I can't wait for the next one, or at least something like this in the future. Thanks again to everyone who made this what it was and I hope to see you guys across a table soon!

Ha-ha!! My big ugly mug {left center} digging for tokens...

I showed up to hang out for a bit till Temple Games opened up, and wound up being the ringer for the event!! I had a great time, and hopefully I can coax some other fellow Mercenary players to fill out Team Blood & Coin/Wenches & Mead for next year...

Photos of top three should be up soon. I'm back at home base after much too late a night with good friends. Will post last round results and final standings by teams in a couple hours after some quality time with my wife who was understanding enough to lend me out to a group of great gamers for the weekend. I hope everyone had lots of fun because I had a blast putting on the show with partner in crime Craig. You guys are the best!

I've been having some difficulties getting the Guts n Gears Dropbox folder to play nice during the event. Might have been Dropbox, might have been my computer, might have been the hotel wifi, or it might be that the video quality came out crappy (I honestly didn't watch them, just uploaded and moved on so I'm watching on here now for the first time) so that it didn't get put up. I'm working on uploading the awards ceremony and the rest of the video clips now from home. Then, it's up to Guts n Gears to do quality control for what makes the cut and what doesn't. If it didn't come out completely terrible but doesn't make it up here, I can get it to you directly for your private screening room.

I was fine with it ducking as long as it was considered knocked down...^

I just realized how many there were forumers, pg's, and mods. Sheesh loads of good gamers.

It was fun. First large tourney i've played in.

Good times, great event. Some more stuff still come .

I for one am very much looking forward to the next NETT event and of course, Templecon.

Craig, Paul and Andrew, certainly deliver great events on time with great quality.

    Regards,

    Extremely real, yes.

Woo last place for my team! Had a great time anyways! And I won the first game of the whole thing! (You can clearly see in that video where I suddenly realize that Snakeman is holding a Flip camera and not a regular one, I thought I was posing for a snapshot, not a mini-interview, hah!)

Great time, everyone! Can't wait for next year!

Also, as Mod_Gemini {and several others!!}can confirm, the way I post on the forums is how I speak in person - pauses, bad jokes, and all!!

    ... you were warned.

Many thanks to Paul and Craig (and anyone else who helped) for running such a great event.

Team Mendoza Line failed to live up to its very modest ambitions; hopefully we can do better next time! Despite our poor showing, I had a wonderful time and didn't make too many horrible mistakes. My only regret is that my army was just a few models short from being wholly painted.

I don't see any team picture for Mendoza Line - perhaps we're so handsome we broke the camera?
