ok got some circle stuff off a friend recently and havent posted in the forums in a while... so here's a crazy list to get back into the swing of things!!
now i dont have to much available... so with what is available here's what i came up with:
System: Hordes
Faction: Circle Orboros
Casters: 1/1
Points: 35/35
Mohsar the Desertwalker (*5pts)
* Gorax (4pts)
* Gnarlhorn Satyr (8pts)
* Warpwolf Stalker (10pts)
Shifting Stones (2pts)
* Stone keeper (1pts)
Stoneward and 5 Woldstalkers (5pts)
Tharn Bloodtrackers (Leader and 9 Grunts) (8pts)
* Nuala the Huntress (2pts)
just kinda going for a balanced fun list here.... and here's the breakdown:
Mohsar - because noone else really plays him locally, and coming from cryx i want lots of fury to work with.
Gorax - Maltreatment + pain response + primal/bounding = seems like a good utility nuke
Gnarlhorn - bounding for the gorax, counterslam, and grandslam into pillars of salt - seems good to me
Stalker - still needed a beatface beast and with berserk primal then swap to lightning strike for his final attack, sprint deeper into the enemy/away from friendlies before he frenzies
stones + keeper - EVERY circle list has these right?? mostly included out of points filling and to heal the gorax so he doesnt die just from maltreatments
world stalkers - just to bring a bit of balance to things, magical shooting and all. with Zephyr and mirage if needed they can reposition really easily and still gain aiming bonus. Also sort of a trap unit where the keeper just keeps living, then when needed he runs, gets next to caster/lock and Mohsar ports in since the keeper is still living.
bloodtrackers - the meat of the hurty force - meant to focus down any and all opposing enemy living units, or beasts
general strategies - mirage the trackers (since they get the most additional movement out of it), set up sunhammer (because he has the fury available), then slowly advance the army behind the wall of 3 pillars each turn. when the enemy gets close enough (turn 3 probably) it's time to rock! trap forward models in a "bubble" between my army and a line of pillars and let whatever necessary smash them to bits. if infantry the trackers and stalker should do it, if a heavy grandslam from the goat into a pillar with purchased attacks should either kill or leave as crippled bait for the woldstalkers to finish up with concentrated fire
