Legion against Legion strategies

I'm going to be playing another Legion player and need some help coming up with a way to counter our favorite shenanigans.

Both my opponent and I have all of Legion's models and have been playing for about a year. He typically plays pVayl with the Throne and Raptors. We'll probably play at 50 points with no scenario. I've been considering an eVayl double alpha strike or beast heavy Abby with the 17 18 Angel running around.

Thoughts, suggestions, past experiences?

Be very careful of rampager. He can swing very uneven trades like that.
I would have occ on who ever is in rampager range and use terrain to mitigate it as well.
If you play Abby you can weapon lock your own guys so he can't tk you.

I would roll with eVayl. You can wipe off his animi and have a lot of tricks to stay away from incite.

Yeah, eVayl is probably the answer.

It means she has to come really far forward to catch you, then you can probably assassinate.

eLylyth counters most Legion shenanigans pretty well, and offers a wide threat range.

Evayl an elylyth are great legion counters. I've even had success with ethags shredder spam as well. Focus fire down heavies a fast as you can.

I've grown to like Bethayne as a counter to Legion. Ashen Veil can really screw them up in melee, targeted eruiptions can clean up striders (or things like the pot). While the feat allows for enough armor cracking with an infantry unit to help tip the attrition scales. And it can elimiate E-Lylyth's hopes for a caster kill by getting into the suit, even if there's no Lylyth, immunity to the ever popular Ravagore shots, or spray and prey from Typhon is nice to have around.

ive played a ton of games against legion. maybe its just matchup specific but evayl really puts a hurt on bethayne. Purification can get rid of AV but icy grip stops hex bolts which really hurts. perhaps its paper rock scissor.

Either Vayl really puts some pretty mean hurt on Beth, but I feel she's solid against the others (P-Vayl since Chiller counter acts Veil pretty much exacty). E-Lylyth / Beth would likely be my pairing if I was just going against Legion, or E-Vayl and Something.
