Has there been a BatRep with Rhulics in NQ? Seems to me that the bat rep chiefs are ignoring the vertically challenged people...
To make the thread topic a bit more broad, I'd suggest making it a discussion of NQ battle reports in general. Have any of them featured any merc contracts? What are the factions that have been most featured in reports? How have they been received by the readership?
I don't know the answers since I stopped reading NQ long ago, but I'd not mind learning...
Also, if I recall correctly and there is a NQ sub-forum, maybe this thread belongs in there.

Was it a staff battrep?

Ah, mk1 1000pts, seems so.

Time for a spot of research - details of NQ's 1-39 are available in the TOC thread that captainspud linked to, and I've checked my copies of 40-42. If anyone wants to chime in re 43, that would be helpful.
Here's a list of the battle reports in NQs 1-42:
I've added a gap there between Mk1 & Mk2. There were 15 battle reports during the Mk1 era, and there have been seven so far in Mk2. Of the fiften Mk1 battle reports, three were at 1000 points, meaning there were 36 caster slots used in Mk1. As far as I can tell, all the Mk2 reports have featured a single caster, meaning there are 14 Mk2 slots.Originally Posted by No Quarter

Trollbloods:
While every Mk1 faction featured in at least one battle report (even the Retribution), so far the Trollbloods are the only faction not to appear in a Mk2 battle report.
Mk1 featured four games involving WM vs Hordes (issues 4, 8, 13 & 24), and we've seen one so far in Mk2 (issue 30).
If we come back to the original question, only one battle report has featured a Rhulic caster, which was the very first one. There have been a total of six Mercenary warcaster appearances overall, though one of those (issue 24) will have been outside of a contract. Of the others, issue #1 had two casters in a Highborne Covenant army, issue #9 featured what I believe to be a Four Star Syndicate Magnus army, and issue #12 must have been a Talion Charter army, as that is the only contract Shae has ever been able to appear in. In Mk2, we've only seen one Merc army, and the MacBain+Croe's combination implies another Four Star army.

Interestingly enough, as it says it in the NQ contents thread as well, the Battle report in NQ#22 is not Irusk vs Mortenebra, but actually Irusk vs eGoreshade...
Zerkova: Fools! How hard can it be to kill one measily elf? Where the hell is he anyway?
Narn: I is in your base, killing all your doodz!

I think it's about time for a Trollbloods vs. Gorten bat rep. OR better yet, let's wait a few months and see how General Ossrum
will annihilate Trollbloods.
I demand a Rhulic bat rep!

You know you could read batreps with that other dude you own, might help you get a handle on how he playes ;D
You are limiting your self a little by only givin your love to gorten and letting the other poor sod collect dust![]()
Madhammer has as few bat reps as Gorten. I wasn't asking for Gorten bat reps, I was asking for Rhulic bat reps.
Still a little dizzy about the Thornwood win, huh?![]()
