Default New Kraken and Black Spot

I've re-read the other threads regarding the Kraken and Black Spot and understand it for the most part. What I'm not 100% sure on right now is what wil happen given the following situation:

We'll start off with a given unit affected by Black Spot.
Kraken is full on corpses and will not Remove from Play any models.

Kraken makes a melee attack against a non-affected enemy living model and destroys it.
Kraken uses Kill Shot to fire Hellblaster and destroys an affected unit member.

Is the Kraken limited to extra attacks only with melee since that was the "initial" attack?
Will the Kraken be limited to ranged attacks since that is what triggered Black Spot?
Or will the Kraken now be able to use both ranged and melee attacks following the normal restrictions for Black Spot?

If this was answered in the previous posts, it was not clear to me at least and I will apologize in advance.
    Da Banes.

You can run...but you'll just die tired.

    Yes.

No, the trigger does not matter.

No. You can only use both ranged and melee attacks during the same activation if you have a special ability that allows you to do so. The Kraken does not have such an ability (except for Kill Shot, which can only be used once per turn), and Black Spot does not grant such an ability.
