Strengths and weaknesses of two 35pt lists made for SR2012 tournament restrictions
My first list is an Adeptis Rahn 35pt spell flinger army. I think it pretty much speaks for itself with what it wants to acomplish.
Adeptis Rahn Shyeel + 6
- Chimera - 6
- Phoenix - 10
Dawnguard Sentinels (Leader and 9 Grunts) - 9
- Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard - 2
- Soulless Escort - 1
House Shyeel Battle Mages (Leader and 5 Grunts) - 5
Arcanist - 1
House Shyeel Artificer - 3
House Shyeel Magister - 2
House Shyeel Magister - 2
What problems do you guys think this list will run into? I can think right off the bat that stealth could be an issue. Any other thoughts on this list will be appreciated. (On a side note, is the House Shyeel Articifer in Rahn's tier list?)
My second list is kind of unique. I think it will counter stealth much better than the Rahn list.
Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper + 7
- Griffon - 4
- Manticore - 8
Dawnguard Sentinels (Leader and 9 Grunts) - 9
- Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard - 2
Stormfall Archers (Leader and 3 Grunts) - 5
Arcanist - 1
Dahlia Hallyr & Skarath - 9
Ghost Sniper - 2
Mage Hunter Assassin - 2
It is more this list that I need help with. I'm not sure how well it will do against most tournament players, but I do think it is a well rounded list IMO. Anyways, if you guys can offer any input/comments/concerns/constructive critiscism I would appreciate it greatly. For the most part I would like to know if these lists could have any merit in a tourney/event, or if you think they would crash and burn.
Thanks for the help.

The Artificer is not in Rahn's tier list.
For Kaelyssa I'd drop the Ghost Sniper and Dahlia and add Discordia and a second arcanist. You've then got guaranteed cover on her feat for stealth and no charging.
Other changes would generally come down to personal preference on models. Personally I can't imagine taking two lists and not using a unit of Mage Hunter Strike Force for example.
