Another Cygnar player Qualifies for the WMW Weekend Invitational

Keith won the Tulsa Qualifier with Cygnar.

Pretty rough field there as well so it's a pretty solid accomplishment. For the record

Jeremy Lee (second at Adepticon)
Mike ? (Winner of Wargames con)
Billy Robbins -- Multiple masters qualifier at big Conventions
Nik Preece -- Multiple time masters qualifer at big conventions
Chilly Winters -- Multiple time masters qualifer at big conventions
Josh Russel -- 2 Time WMW Inviational qualifier (he also won it all in 2010)
Cliffton Cline -- WMW invitational Qualifier from 2010.
Ryan Gin -- Played me in the Finals of the Die Con qualifier.

So lots of good players. I have undoubtedly left out someone good. No slights intended.

That Caine 2 list is... weird. That's a whole crapton of points in solos. 19 points if you count A&H... wowsas. Seems sorta random.

The Caine 1 list seems pretty sweet though.

The Caine 2 list is anything but random. It was built with exactly one primary purpose in mind and nearly every model, save perhaps the rangers works towards that goal. Oh, and I took Jr. because why wouldn't you?

Jr is ridiculous. I almost stopped playing him because I felt like he's a crutch, but he's more like the choir for Cygnar. Not taking Jr is like not taking choir in menoth. And that's just crazy sauce. Paradox around here somewhere?

Ill give you a hint. They're big and new and they die in one round when you strip off upkeeps and apply -4 or -6 armor.

The second list looks jammy list to me. I don't see the point much in the rangers, boomhowlers assault? I get the impression you use boomies and risen to jam opponent an mop up with forgeguard, Ol'Rowdy and eCaine. What do you do against a 3+ Warbeasts Heavy list? Play the other list, I would imagine?

I don't want to speak for the man but eCaine can always do what eCaine does best in those situations.

I have Ragman, Aiyana and Holt, and Gorman. Armor is not a problem.

In the 3 games with Caine2 I actually never feated.

First off major congratz Keith! Love what you have done with your lists.

I have been working on an eCaine list that is very similar as a jam list but never thought to put that many armor reducing solos in it for taking out Colossals. Love it! Hate to say it but totally stealing this tech. Not sure if I like the rangers though. What is there role?

Glade to see the SW made it into your pCaine list and worked out. I have been using a list like that after you mentioned it, still waiting on the other 10 longunners though.

I'd imagine the Rangers are in the eCaine list mainly for his assassination run even though the feat assassination apparently never got used.

The thought occurred to me but I never had what I saw as a good opportunity.

I also found out when we were recording that I made an error in my last game. I cast magic bullet on a Boomhowler and it turns out thats a rare Faction specific spell in Cygnar. That was a regrettable mistake given its outcome on the game.

I agree ... good unit placement and target selection gets them to RAT 8 even if they move ... SPD 7 and Pathfinder ... and Camo and Prowl for defensive tech. For 5 points that's an awesome combination. I wouldn't want to throw them up against medium base infantry or Heavy Armor, but every list is going to have something they can go after.
