Default Home Brewed Warmachine and Hordes

Have you actually used any of the models you've home brewed? Have you Faced any Home brewed? Would you if you haven't? I'm curious if anyone has gotten any where with their own armies, and custom built models would be a fun sight to see. Just curious is all.

The meta where Ia m is still some newer players that are trying to figure out what htey have, and the veteran players have never really been into home-brewing stuff for actual play. I did up a trencher warcaster once but got very little feedback from the forums to figure out if it was OP or UQ, so I don't know if it was ever on the mark.

Although I did find that as I made him some stuff that seemed a little inocous at first glance became too powerful later on when taken into consideration with other things available

I don't think I am opposed to homebrew in general, it is just finding the balance that is workable, and playing against the right sort of person. ("What do you mean an eigh point behemoth clone isn't balanced?")

I do like the idea of custom built models though

I'm lucky enough to have a couple of friends who are just in it for fun, and i usually lose no matter what. So i'm extremely nonthreatening. Therefore, yeah, they'll let me run homebrew. But being that i always run half a dozen proxy (prettier) models, i try not to push my limits.
