Hey guys, I just wanted to get your guys insight on the matter, there is a post at http://privateerpressforums.com/show...lightning-pods that is a little confusing. Are we supposed to follow what Hacksaw says and that they can't control points, or what the Infernal ruled?

They are in agreement - lightning pods cannot control, only contest. The reference to being able to control areas is in reference to halfjacks and the deathwalker.

Hacksaw writes the SR document. For all intents and purposes he would likely have to be the one that Infernals check with on a tough question, so I'd go with Hacksaw on those types of things.

I only ask cause there is a debate locally that while Hacksaw writes the SR, most people don't know that, and the Infernal said it according to the document it can, and usually people take Infernal rule as law.

Well I was actually hoping someone like Scott would reply, and maybe get some info on much weight the tournament scene puts on what Hacksaw posts.

It has been stated more than once, by actual infernals, that Hacksaw is in charge of SR and should be considered an infernal with respect to it. The tournament scene puts 100% of their weight on what Hacksaw posts, because it is literally the correct interpretation no matter what.
