    Default First warmachine mini.

My first attempt at Warmachine. I haven't been painting long but I am practicing like crazy and I have a buddy who is amazing helping me learn. This is the start of my Merc Dwarf army. I am going to buy one piece at a time and not buy more until after the current piece is finished. That way I always have a model to paint before buying the next part.

It looks pretty good, especially for a newer painter.

The one thing I would say is that the model is obviously washed. A lot of the surfaces still have that "foggy" look that is left from using a wash. I would just go back and try and do a little highlighting over the raised areas a bit more, leaving the wash only in the recesses. That will still give you the shading effect of the wash but will make the higher points pop out a bit more, instead of blending together as they do currently. If you do your highlights in several very thin layers you will be able to build up a smooth transition from teh shading of the wash to the final highlight color.

But over all a very good start to your painting experience! Keep it up!

very good for a beginner painter, specially considering the chosen color.

would add somthing to the base.
