The Cephalyx have always intrigued me and I wondered if anybody has heard of a Cephalyx warcaster or Cephalyx warjacks. I think that could be a Cryx Ally warcaster. Any ideas?

I would be cautious on asking for more cephalex....I would rather them rework drudges first, then expand them. And no, I think of them as only plot advancement in the story of the game. PP could have done wonderful things with them, but chose to give us drudges.
Overlords are not bad, but their association with drudges and the existence of sirens really put them on the back burner, unless your meta is full of fools who take no shooting and bunch up.
Honestly, I would rather they let them be taken by 4* first and foremost since Fiona seems to be the best caster for them.
I think drudges would actually be pretty good with a Cryx ally caster. They do what Cryx does best (self-replicating units), but with a merc statline. Backed up by appropriate support (say, a unit with a range > 10), they probably wouldn't be terrible.
I really would like to see a Cephalyx as a Cryx ally caster, sporting some type of elite cadre ability to make drudges more worth it. Add in a Cephalyx flavored mixed-arms jack, and I'm sold.
For the elite cadre, maybe something along the line of: While in this model's control range, all mind slaver drudges are considered to be in formation, and gain +2 spd and str when charging.
Now I'm thinking of 2 jacks. Medium base jack with stalker statline, -2 MAT, +2 RAT. Rng 6, pow 12 gun, 1 pow 12 melee attack. Model rules say "when this model boxes a living non-warcaster/warlock warrior model with a melee or ranged attack, that model heals 1 pt of damage and becomes a solo under your control. Solos created this way may activate this turn. During your control phase, solos that are more than 6" away from this model are removed from play."
For the heavy.... eh i dunno. Something with a gun and death toll: drudges.

I wouldn't say it's a long shot to see an allied Cephalyx warcaster coming to Cryx one day way in the future. Cygnar has an ally Warcaster in Constance for instance so the idea does have some precedence.
Myself though I'd rather see Cephalyx as a new Hordes faction that uses underdark type strange creatures twisted to the Cephalyx's will.
The Cephalyx becoming a Hordes faction seems extremely unlikely... and by extremely unlikely I mean exttreeeeeemely unlikely.
They don't control beasts, they augment members of other races and brainwash them to serve as slaves. Humans get turned into Drudges, I could see Cephalyx getting UA's/WA's with Drudges of other races... But a Warlock? I can't see that ever happening.
The Cephalyx are the only allies that Mercs can't use, and it's because they're tied to Asphyxious. Fluff- wise, them bailing on Asphyxious at this point would probably mean Gaspy brings down the pain on their entire race.
I might be able to see a Cephalyx warcaster, but as far as we know, they're just augmented psychics that brainwash people into slavery. We don't know if any of them are capable of even tapping into a warjack's cortex.

Releasing a WA with a command of at least 6 but preferably 7-8 would make me very happy.
