Hi all,

I've been spamming these boards with plenty of ideas for a list that can cope with Cygnar and some of the nastier casters. Thanks for all your feedback on those lists.

Not actually too worried by other factions as PButcher can murder just about anything that comes his way. But nasty stuff like either Haley slowing down his army, or ECaine shooting him 10 times from POW12 to POW21 shots is too much even for that nutter.

I've considered Karchev, but involves running lots of jacks and being concentrated in one area of the board to get them fast/ benefit from 10" CZ.

Also considered Strakhov. Has a very good alpha strike and assassination potential, but is very squishy if it all goes wrong (As per his flowchart).

Then I was considering LVlad. Can camp armour very high if needed and has some very interesting movement shenanigans with his feat and Dash spell.

Fast, can camp for high ARM and can mix it up, which I much prefer to being all sneaky and clever like you have to be with the Old Witch or Zerkova. I like a balls to the wall playstyle where my caster gets stuck in, but not where I only get 2 FOC in a turn and eat lots of dakka and die (So EButcher is out IMO).

Berserker
Cheapest Jack I can get. Cygnar loves disrupting jacks, so keeping him nice and cheap to leave more points for other stuff. If I drop the next guy, could upgrade to Beast 09 for extra threat range and hittiness. Also, 6" Hyper Aggressive advance after each shot at him makes him seem pretty dirty vs gunlines. But worth dropping Fenris or Great Bears for? In my experience an expensive jack dies as easy as a cheap jack.

I love this goofy bastard. Can hit a single target quite hard, and has real comedy potential on feat turn. I also like dirty dismount shenanigans whereby he can take a charge from a non reach beasty, get knocked off his horse and dismount to safety.
Might be worth dropping him to upgrade Berserker to Beast 09 to make him hittier and immune to Domination spell?

5 Uhlans
Never liked these guys before. Look up "One hit wonder" in a phrase dictionary and you'd see a picture of these guys. But with Feat (And even Dash spell to an extent) they can have more than one bite of the cherry in a scrap. Have enough ARM and boxes to survive covering fire templates and get stuck into enemy troops/ Stormwall.

10 Iron Fang Pikemen + UA
Couldn't believe my eyes when I reread their UA ability. With Vlad they can run effectively 21" into Shieldwall? Did I read that right? Or even just charge with 12" threat and then penetrate 7" deeper into the enemy lines, or even just run past their guys and tie them up thanks to Dash parry ability. Not so hot vs. Black13 or ECaine gunmages, but otherwise seems made of win.
(Nice trick I want to try is get 2 reach guys either side of some gunfighters, such that they can't use their 1/2" gunfighter reach against one guy without taking a freestrike from one of my other guy. Would be great to get that to work).

Designed to drop arcane shield on priority target, or even to Eeiryss bomb one or more enemy jacks (Which also works on Collossal as far as I can tell).

Fit the Iron Fang theme as well as being hard as nails. Hopefully with my fast elements tying up shooting against them, they might even live to swing their whopper choppers at the enemy.


It looks to me to be a fun list, which plays very differently to my infantry heavy, slow, "Combine harvester"* PButcher list.
*Enemies within 8-10" of my army get "reaped" by WG shotguns; brained with big ice mauls and stabbed with daggers. But threat range over 8-10" is very poor.

Any thoughts guys?
