Richmond, Virginia Gaming?

Hello everyone. I am moving near Richmond Virginia (VA) very soon and I haven't had a lot of luck finding game stores in the area. I did manage to find one nearby but it seems that WM is quite marginalized there (looks like a GW store mostly).

I am hoping that the situation is more promising than it appears since I am moving from an area crawling with WM players. Looks like the NOVA area is hogging all the WM action in VA.

Well we've got a pretty good WM following at the Game Vault up in Fredericksburg. In the city of Richmond I believe there is FTW Games and One Eyed Jacks although I have no idea what the playerbase is like, I very rarely get down to RVA and have never played there.

I Lived in Richmond for a few years. there is a game club called the Stony Point Refugees. They mostly play at FTW games since a club member owns the shop. They mostly play GW but dabble in warmachine and infinity. FTW is on the midlothian turnpike past the walmart in midlothian proper.

I have discovered the SPR's. Seems like they are almost exclusively GDub so I wasn't very encouraged. I think it is kinda funny they file PP under "Indy Games".

When are you moving? We're hosting the NOVA Open up in Crystal City again this year; we may be hogging all the gaming, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't come up and have a good time

I will be trying very hard to make it to the NOVA Open. Should be there in plenty on time for that.
