Ordered a Conquest and got a Stormwall in the box

I am really unsure if I am sad about this or not. I don't play Cygnar but the model is awesome.

What should I do, call the store, bits replacement it or just buy the Conquest and keep the big blue monstrosity?

The one and only time this happened to me I got a more expensive unit out of the deal and kept my mouth shut.

Have you contacted the place you bought it? For anyone knows, there could be unwanted shenanigans afoot. I would think just returning it would be simplest, if you don't want the Surprise Stormwall model.

I once got a Mage Hunter Assassin from The War Store when I ordered a Mage Hunter Unit Attachment. The packaging said it was the right thing, which to my mind made it a packing error and not a retailer error. PP apparently agreed with me; they sent me a MHSF UA when I submitted a ticket.

This is obviously a different scale of error, but the type of error seems the same.

I first might try to return it to the store you bought it from, assuming its a physical store, it shouldn't be too hard for them to replace your Conquest, and be able to resell the Stormwall, assuming all the Stormwall pieces are there, including cards.

However, from what you mentioned, it is within what I'd consider a mispack, and you could open a ticket with the parts replacement service. This might be a good time to include pictures with that request though.

did you get a stormwall box or a conquest box with no conquest parts but the base in it? In case of the former it is a retail error (send it back and wait). In case of the latter it is a case for the missing parts service (file a ticket and use the conquest parts for the base).

I second Redphantasm. If it is indeed in the proper packaging for a Conquest, then it is a mispack and it should go through the replacement parts portal. I personally would probably place a call due to the nature of the model in question, however it should work like any other model packed incorrectly, just on a much larger scale.

I would file a ticket and definitely included a pic if you can. probably smooth the process considering it is a expensive item and all.

I know they have always been great for me I bought like $250 worth of minis from various factions from a store that had them on clearance and they all had MkI cards in them they replaced all 20 cards for nothing, I got a new Stormwall leg, and new stormblade shields (missing) for them they have the best customer service I have every had an experience with. I work with a lot of computers (Network Admin) and I have dealt with a lot of customer service.

If its the wrong model (totally stat card and all) in the box I'm willing to bet that it might not be a packing error, but that the store might have opened one or two boxes (you'd be amazed how many times this happens in retail) and accidentally put the wrong model back into the box. I'd contact them first as they might well have another customer waiting with your model in their box.

Only after confirming with the retailer would I move to PP and file a misspack claim.

i think its proof thar khador have in fact actually conquered cygnar, and are now legally allowed to field any, and all cygnaran models as khador ones.

I don't think the store did it because it was still sealed. Weird. Oh well this is the second time it has happened to me, I picked up some WGI and for the WGRC in the box. I was not unhappy with this as I needed the WGRC and already had a full WGI compliment.

I emailed the store (it was a webstore) and they said they shipped it as soon as it came in from my pre order and asked if it was not sealed, I said it was so it wasn't them. I trust those guys a lot.

I like the idea of an epic wreck marker base for Conquest. Hmmm.

Comeing from my thread to here. Had the same issue as tossy. Im mad but more of a lol mad. But my flgs said they would order another konquest for me and sell the stormwall to the next buyer if possible I left the model with them but I trust them if they cant do it I Would like to know how the whole ticket thing works.

Steamwitch, I feel your pain. In my case, my Conquest had two left shoulders, each with a different notation. I blame the swans for this.
