    Played my first game with my Legion army I got from my friend. Played against Cygnar today and won against pNemo, and just wanted to know how this list sounds. It was a good close game that won out in my favor because of a bad move made by my opponent and questioned myself how my list was so, go ahead and tell me how this sounds community! Btw; I play Skorne normally and enjoy playing something different. Any tips and tricks are helpful!

    Do you have access to any Angelii or Scytheans? They really take advantage of her feat.

    I have Typhon, a Carnivean, Ravagore, and Angelius to have access to.... Oh wow, I actually didn't think of that! Thanks.

    I just picked up Saeryn myself. Thinking of at least 2 Angelii in the list. You can just Feat and charge both flyers at warcaster.

    Also Spell Martyrs to expand the range of her Blight Bringer. If you can sneak a spell martyr into the back field, pop one and Blight bringer on some infantry/warcaster.

    Something like:
    Saeryn
    Angelius
    Angeluis
    Ravagore or Schythean (probably him)
    2-4 Harrier
    Shredder (mainly just Tenacity)
    3 Spell Martyr
    1 Shepherd
    2 Deathstalker
    1 Raek

    Guglio's list is pretty much the standard. Saeryn is quite possibly the ONLY Legion caster who doesn't want Ravagores. At 35, play around with either double Scythean and an Angelius or double Angelius an a Scythean. At 50, you want a pair of each.

    *Has been taking notes.* Why not any units? Sounds like Grotesques would be ok with her.

    Grotesques are pretty bad with everyone. They're one of our worse units. Slow, shockingly low CMD and can't kill anything without Gang, there are simply better options.

    I'm hopeful for a UA or a solo that will help with their CMD. But that will be a long way out. I like the models but yeah I found out the hard way with Grotesques that their cmd is small. At least i have a full unit to see if they get better down the raod =) It like the saying
    "Its good to have them and not need them Than need them and not have them.

    Yeah they don't need much to make them better, but they sure as hell need something. Either that or they should have been priced like Mechanithralls (and even then I would have liked to see SPD 6).

    Alright, so basically Grotesques is a negative. I know she doesn't provide any support for units besides Banishing Ward, so is it just easier to run her without infantry support?

    I would not take Raek (after the nerf imho isn't worth it anymore). Sunday i'll try this one:
    Saeryn, Omen of Everblight (*5pts)
    * Shredder (2pts)
    * Angelius (9pts)
    * Scythean (9pts)
    * Carnivean (11pts)
    1 Spell Martyr (1pts)
    Strider Deathstalker (2pts)
    Annyssa (4pts)
    The Forsaken (2pts)

    I know that the Raek is useless for arm lock after the faq, but it could advance very quickly and it could be a pain in the back , but Annyssa is the best replacement if you like her; she could do the solo-hunting very well, and help the ds with troops.
    I don't know if the swapping of the schytean for the carnivean is better, I mean, the carnivean is very good, but the scythean for 2 point less is good butcher, with reach. For the 2 point saved with the scythean a ds or a forsaken could be good choice.

    I like the Carnivean animus more than the Scythean one, it makes one beast a pain to kill for other beasts/jacks. And that's something a Ds or a Forsaken have an harsh time to accomplish.
