    Default Eu mispack ?

    Ullo!

So, Ive had quite a few missing parts in my pewter Errant Box and blisters.
Started a ticket with the mispack service around 3 weeks ago.
Now, 8 days ago, the ticket was updated to "Forwarded To Eu".

Since then, nothing. How long does this kind of thing usually take ? I must admit I am becoming somewhat annoyed with this and impatient.

Anyone got experience with EU mispacks ?

Last time I entered a ticket for missing parts, I was sent the wrong part as replacement. Never bothered after that, but if they are as awesome at distributing new stock at sending replacement parts, be ready to wait at least two months.

Three weeks for the wrong parts, whats the point right?

Had quite a few dealings with them.
They are always timely in responses and I always get my parts.
Sometimes it takes a few weeks, but it is no real hardship.
They do a great job, IMO

Last time I sent in a missing parts request to EU I did not recieve any answer, but parts showed up in my mail a week later. Really, do not despair, remember that it's summer and people are on vacation, and if you don't hear anything for another week, send them another email.

Edit: Also, don't listen to Blighted Tyrant. I've had several experiences with EU missing parts, and all of them positive, decently fast and the correct parts.

I've never received a reply from the EU missing parts email, and it's been somewhat erratic as to whether or not I get parts - sometimes I've had them arrive within a week of sending the email, while other times I've got no replacement parts whatsoever. It feels pretty hit or miss.

Yeah don't listen to some one who has also dealt with them and received nothing but poor service, because that's not important, you don't want to give him an unbiased view that would be completely wrong - you carry on, living in your perfect world mean while we'll carry on with the facts that some people get **** service and when asked others should be told about it.

I haven't needed to use them recently, but when I've used them before they've usually been good.

By the by, if you are in the EU, It should be quicker and easier to just send an e-mail straight to eumissingparts@privateerpress.com directly (as the packing slips in the blisters say), since it's a completely separate service to the U.S. one on the site here anyway.

I wonder whats going on. Ive received a few models that were missing parts or had extras. For example I ordered legionaires and in the blister it was full of Harriers. Last week I picked up the Sons of Bragg and it had extra arms, but luckily all the parts were inside.

Also, someone recently posted that they ordered a Conquest and when they opened the packaging it was a Stormwall. Yikes!

And finally a friend of mine ordered a box of Kayazy assassins and when he opened the box it was full of eliminators.

This is happening too frequently of late Im afraid. And in the case of my harriers, it took them 3 weeks to send me the correct models

The guys at the factory are great. I have never had to wait more than a few weeks. Considering how busy they are and the volume of parts and orders they deal with I think that's great.

In my industry it can take months for suppliers to replace missing or broken items

The conquest would have had to be shipped from the US (They don't do resin in the UK factory that serves the EU) so it's not all from the same place anyway.

Or they didn't do resin anyway, I'm not intimately familiar with goings on over there .

I find I always get the part I was missing about a day after I've given up hoping it'll come. I usually don't get confirmation saying they've sent anything, it just turns up. I did get an email a while back apologising that they were running slowly at the time and that they were going to send out the part ASAP, but I'd got the part before I got the email, so... Yeah. Time travel. Did you try last week's mail again?

Also, they sent me out the main body section of a Druid Overseer, even after I admitted it was my fault for not checking the blister before I got it. I have nothing but praise for EU Missing Parts.

Always had a good turn around on Missing parts. And on getting stock in.

Any resin bits would need to come from the US as the factory in Liverpool only does metal models at the moment.

Every time I've gotten the status "Forwarded to EU" (regardless if it's mispacked/broken metal pieces or I got a mk1 card), they've never updated the status. to "dispatched" or anything like that. then the parts just shows up anyway. Doesn't feel like it matters to check the status of the case since it's not properly updated anyway

We do not get a whole lot of missing parts requests, but when we do, we always send out the part in 1 to 4 days, depending on how busy we are that particular week (ie-if it's a new release week or a convention). In the UK, that would mean that you should always get your part within a week. If you do not, please let us know. Across the rest of Europe it's more of a crap shoot, as it's one countries postal service handing it off to another. Having said that, it usually goes pretty well. The reason we need you to contact us if you do not get satisfaction in a reasonable time is because you deserve to get what you pay for and we do not have a "proof of delivery" on missing parts, as we use Royal Mail, not UPS, Parcel Force, etc.

We are not perfect, but we strive to be. Thank you for your patience and for bringing these matters to our attention.

Well little update, Bob responded to me swiftly over the pm, offering help. So Im happy with this swift response and am sure the parts will arrive sometime next week or so

Also, i didnt know that i am supposed to send an e-mail to eumissingparts. Sure, its written on the slip but nowhere does it instruct to send requests there

Anyhow, i can see that customer satisfaction is still of great concern to PP and that is a great attitude in itself.

Except 211 would be a U.S. packer, not a U.K. packer and therefore cannot be involved

My experience with E.U. missing parts has mostly been positive and I've recieved replacement parts quickly.

I did once not recieve a part and I'm guessing it got lost somewhere in the system as I was asked if that was ever resolved as part of my next missing part query.

You'd think that, but 211 is just that good (or bad, I guess). :P

Little do we know that 211 actually means: "Help! I'm trapped in a miniature games model factory! Please send help!" and that they're actually removing parts from kits to lay a breadcrumb trail on their multiple attempts to escape...
