Default I had three games today and....

...I won two out of the three. I was playing eGaspy with something like 30 points of banes and biles, including BLT, and three arc nodes plus two WWS and two Pistol Wraiths.

The first game was against Cygnar. My opponant had the Cygnar Colossal, eeNemo and some infantry I don't remember for sure what they where. I lost because the colossal and nemo zapped eGaspy to death. I didn't get to use my feat because I only lost the bile thralls, the arc nodes and all my solos. He left my infantry alone and didn't have to commit anything because he killed my caster early on.

The second game was against a Dwarven Merc army. I lost nothing and destroyed him completely. My biles got off the purge killing his only infantry unit, and my banes killed off all his jacks. The pistol wraiths and WWS saved the day and kept them from moving and or acting for one turn. I got everything in position and proceeded to squash his caster. It wasn't even a fair fight to be honest. He was playing a new caster, the merc caster from the Colossal book, and he didn't know what he was capable of.

My last game was against a spell denial Menoth list which kind of sucked. My banes got the alpha strike and recked his jacks. My Bile thralls killed off an expensive infantry unit and solo. I ended up getting a single soul at this point which became a focus on the last turn. I thought though that I might lose. That was until he moved his warcaster into the fray to open a charge lane for the following turn. Luckily for me it was over on my turn. I popped feat and braught back 7 banes 1 bile thrall and 2 pistol wraiths. I remembered to finish gaspy's activation and I cast two Excarnate spells and boosted both damage rolls. My feat models didn't get to kill anything because he was dead before I got to use them.

In the end it was a good day. My first opponant told me that the Cygnar Colossal is well worth it and that it is a good bargain for the point cost. He mentioned that it was like three jacks built into one model for cheaper than the three said models would be together point wise. That thing zapped me into death quickly. I am not sure how to counter it with eGaspy. Maybe next time I will go back to the tryed and true pDenny. She can bring it down to a feasable level for a turn. I can then maybe pound it into dust. Who knows, I might actually beat a Cygnar army for once. Anyways let me know what you think about the Cygnar Colossal. I am interested in others views of this awesome model.

Stormwall can't see through clouds, so there's that. Also, feating back a bile thrall is utterly pointless (in fact harmful). It has no melee weapon and no gunfighter, so it cannot move since it must charge and yet is unable to charge.
    The hardest part..

    Yeah, Stormwall is kinda balls.

I'm gonna call is Ballswall. Or Stormballs.

Like, I'm pretty sure it turns a somewhat difficult matchup into really hard.

Sadly, you may need a Kraken to compete.

Go go clouds to keep the stormwall moving. Also have a bile blow his load behind YOUR lines to gather destroyed models if you just have to have them. You don't always need to save up your dead models for going after a warnoun. In games vs hordes I frequently charge what banes I have into the beasts, feat and hit the beasts again. Drop 3 heavies in one turn and you will see a drastic change in momentum.

Unless its being run by Haley1, Gaspy2 kills that thing DEAD. Just parasite and then feat on it, 10 assorted banes and solos can kill it with ease.

With eGaspy, Bane Thralls, Parasite, and Gorman's Rust Bomb = You can kill any Colossal/Gargantuan in the game in a single turn.

That's if you can get to it. Which is the problem we have with pHayley. If she's running the Stormwall, we're kinda SOL unless she has no focus on her. In which case, blow her up by surrounding her with as much infantry as you can, then drop a Death Knell on her face and boost the damage.

I've insta- gibbed so many casters by crowding them with McThralls and dropping a DK on the mess. If you can get close enough, you can crowd your models around the enemy warcaster, drop Death Knell, if that doesn't kill them, pop feat and charge.

if you know your opponent is going to play pHayley, honestly, bring a Kraken, and get 3 corpse tokens on it as soon as physically possible, then shoot her in the face. Even camping 3 focus after casting Temporal Barrier, it's dice on damage. It could instantly kill her, given the shot hits.

I think eShade + Kraken = Dead pHaley.

Hiding behind a Stormwall? Behind a wall? In a cloud?

    BAM.

    Phantom Hunter is pretty sweet.

Still don't know if I can justify taking up 19 points of an eShade list for that, though.

eGaspy, feat, rust bomb etc vs stormwall is a pile of mess. eSkarre with DJ + Nightmare + Rust bomb is a dead stormwall etc. Really unless phaely is denying charges theres lot of answers.
Morty, skarres, egaspy, dennys, etc can all bring down a stormwalls just fine. Curse of shadows on it while nightmare runs through to a caster is pretty funny.

I guess eDenny's Marked For Death would also work nicely with a Kraken, might be a bit harder to pull off tho...

Well I played another game today against the butcher of khador. He had three jacks, some MoW and a dragoon. I played my 35 point eGaspy list and I was able to kill the butcher with my feated bane thralls. It was beautiful. Another victory for me. Yay!

It's like eGaspy's feat wins games or something... whoah...

I've stopped playing eGaspy out of principle. pGaspy is on the tolerable side of broken, if there is one. But, playing eGaspy just means you lose friends every game.
