I ran Durgen, 15pts, vs. Adeptis Rahn. The Basher didn't do much but provide Focus, but man was it worth it. His failed assassination run with a Phoenix was all I needed to counter-assassinate with a pair of Gunners.

Three games over the weekend. Magnus' renagades murder eIrusk at 35 points with rockets do to bad screening and him forgeting about arcing fire. Next 2 against skorne , Alexia sacrifices 14 risen to take down Morgoul and 3 of his beast because he likes to transfer . Game 2 against Zaal most of his army is murderedby range and mags takes down Zaal personaly. Mvp of game 2 is boomhowler who took our a full unit of praetorian with UA , a ancestral guardian , a totem hunter , kovaas and a drake with his minimum unit of 6 guys.

25 point tag team match last night with a durgen player vs. legion and khador. My risen tied up esorcha most of the game and alexia left her at 5hp before my caster , emags , went down to a winter gaurd spray on her feat turn. Shae, the freebooter, the commodore and the deck gun go to town on the jacks while the pirates pile in to grind on some manowar.
hawk sets herself up for an assasination run, but falls short and only kills the jack marshal. with her dead, shae moves storm rager over to himself and steps up to finish off the last kodiak with a couple of boosted attacks. The butcher, out of options moves up to try to drop an aoe on shae's head. he misses, does a couple points of blast damage, and is done for the turn. the freebooter walks into the woods, hits the butcher twice, and then throws him out into the open. shae charges with storm rager upkept and 5 focus and autohits with 6 pow 15s for the game.

Had a very rare draw in a 35 pts. game against Grissel in the old CTA scenario Nightfall. LoS range decreases as the turns progress, but since both armies were so painfully slow, we were almost behind the LoS-decrease every turn. And when the Trolls finally charged in, I counter-charged them with Forge Guard, killed one unit of Champions, and Landslide'd the other unit of Champions back 8". We called the game a draw after turn 6, because it was a total standoff...

Just picked up my merc contracts for Christmas
Shae beat Irusk in my first game Talion Contract - First mate Hawk assasination run 33 point hit to kill Irusk.
Fiona beat Haley in my next game Syndicate contract. Rushed in popped feat and he popped her feat next turn and brought in Haley to try and get Fiona but failed and she was toast next turn.

Bart wins vs. Menoth's Amon. MVP was Doc Killingsworth, who refused to die - he had the Avatar beating on him and made 6! tough rolls. Prior to that, the Avatar trampled through a bunch of Sea Dogs to get to him... all of whom made their tough rolls and stayed standing. He'd also forgotten at first to take down Grogspar first, so that made it a little harder for him. Amon got pinged a time or two, and then he wandered Amon just a little too close and Holt came in and shot him in the face.

Shae wins vs. Kaelyssa. My first second round win. He left Kaelyssa without any focus on her thinking I couldn't get to him, and Hawk was feated+coup de graced+charged - just enough to get to her and *slashslash* dead caster. He admitted he underestimated just how far she could go, and noted that he would remember that next time.
