Put together Sturm & Drang, and I finished my Gun Boar conversion! It might not sound like much, but it's more than I have gotten done in weeks :|

Got a lot of work done tweaking the Phink Phoenix and Naaresh yesterday, and I am proud of them both! Will try to finish them both tomorrow so that I can start finishing up my Protectorate stuff and then start in on my Lost Tribe Khador concept.

Thanks a bunch! I've been SLOWLY plugging away at that force, given my limited access to them, but if you check back in a few days, I should have quite a few more models posted.

I just pick my first box of WM. The Khador box with 2 jacks and Sorscha. Glue them together trying to do a good dinamic pose while not attempting to do any convertion. primed them white ( I am planning to use another color instead of red jacks and uniforms.

And also did the bases. While Sorscha got some cork to texturize the base, the jacks got sand and small pieces of bricks.

I will return to them late in the week while my daughter and son are sleeping and the kitchen table is mine!

The Phink Phoenix and Naaresh are done as of today! Though I can see a couple small spots on Naaresh where I can tweak his washes a little, he's this side of done. Pics in other threads. I also gleefully tore into a Devout light warjack and nearly finished it--would have done so if I had not had to soak his shield/hand in nail polish remover to get old glue off of it. It's looking great, though.

Next up:

Primered to finished on the last 6 Bane Thralls for my friends commission army - actually, they're not entirely finished, I forgot the black to rim off the bases (who forgets black?!). I have no idea what's up for tomorrow as it's 27* outside now and I don't know if it's going to get above freezing or not tomorrow in order for me to prime.

Primered to finished (and still 2.5 hours left before I go home!

) on 2 McThralls and 4 BileThralls (which will now total out into two full units of each). I think this pretty much nearly wraps me up on my friend's Cryx commission. I know I've got to do a Ogrun Bokur for him, as well as B.L. Tartarus, but beyond that, I don't think I have anything else for him. Next things for his commission is a soccer team (I don't know, some soccer based mini game) and some Flames of War Russians. (Ugh, bases full of tiny foot soldiers).

What I paint tomorrow will entirely depend on the weather.

Built and primed Bane Lord Tartarus before work. Brought him in and completely painted him before midnight.

3 hours of work left after and no posts on RPOL to entertain me.

Tomorrow is MoW Shocktroopers. 5 of them should (should) last me 'through Friday night.

Finished the plastic Menite 'jacks from the 2-player box. I tried painting them using the studio scheme, I've known for awhile that I have to "care" about the model in order to give it a decent paintjob, and since I am giving these away as a present this holiday, I think subconsciously I am sabotaging myself. They just don't look as good as I hoped they would. Gonna let them sit for a day or two and see what happens if I try and tackle their highlights once more. The previous highlights on the white/tan just came out way too blocky.

I am not looking forward to working on the Cinerators.

@Sauklaue: My only suggestion with that otherwise AWESOME pThagrosh would be to apply a wash or two to his skin and weapon to make the highlights and shading blend a little more. Otherwise, did I mention that that is, as usual, amazing work?

OK, in the space of just over 2.5 hours today, I:

--Primed and base coated the Devout's shield arm
--Finished building the Exemplars Errant unit (said effit and simply glued the last two guys' arms instead of pinning them)
--Finished building Destroyer #1 (all I had to do was attach his arms)
--Tweaked the metal bits on Master Ascetic Naaresh

Not bad, if I say so myself.

I've been working on my first unit of Brigands and a blister of 2 I got (so 8/20 so far). Got the heads on, 2 are kinda painted (Armor, some face work, and then the fur), all the arms are primed, just need to prime and paint the bodies.
