painted Cauldron of Blood and 2 Hags, need to finish the Hag Queen. Stripping a unit of IFP as well.

Finished up pEiryss, and she's looking good! Got the Stalker onto its base, and even though it looks a bit lopsided, I can always say it's in the middle of stepping forward, right? Right? Hoping to get some primer on the main body tonight so I can start in on the painting!

Still working on the damnable Extreme Juggernaut. Today saw me glue axe and fingers to hand, and shoulder and upper arm to body. Next is trying to decide where lower arm will be glued and hand will be glued to lower arm. Plan is for super-cool-awesome pose, reality is more to be awkward-what-the-hell-is-he-doing-exactly pose.

In other news, A Dance with Dragons!!!!

Finished all the important parts of my Legionnaires. Now their armor, cloaks and feathered crests are all done and sealed. Since I'm not in a super-painting mood I gave up trying to paint the leader's eyes and gouged them out, painting streaks of blood down her cheeks instead. She got jealous of the eyeless beasts, I guess. Everyone but the last two are now gloss-coated, waiting 'til tomorrow for the dull coat.

The last two I messed up on and applied wood finish directly to Rustoleum silver spray paint. The solution the finish floats in stripped the spray paint and the resulting compound prevents most of the wood finish from drying. I've got them scrubbed and removed from the bases, but I'm trying to think if Simple Green will strip Rustoleum/Minwax. Once all the models are to the same place I'll take care of what basing I can (those Legionnaires take up a lot of base space) and paint front arcs. This will be my second fully painted full unit, at least until Farilor and Standard release. I'm so stoked!

Funnily enough, the Legionnaires look very bland from the front, since the red feathers and maroon cloth are in the back and the only thing on the front is patina'd plate armor. My sister calls them my "Mullet Brigade" since they're business in the front and party in the back.

Finally finished building the Extreme Juggernaut. He's getting primered now, but probably won't see paint for a bit, yet. Just over a third of the way through A Dance with Dragons right now.

EDIT: Looks like I lied. I managed to get two colors and a wash done on the XJuggy. Probably more painting tomorrow sometime.

I assembled 8 of 10 Boomhowlers last night... then I ran out of super glue.

I mostly assembled Gallant... just need to glue his arms to the body and then get it on the base.

wow. paint scheme/job is awesome. however, the shoulder spike plates don't feel very integrated, and the cannon is a bit over the top in my opinion.

Wound up getting my magnet from K&J the other day, and finished installing them in my plastic Helljack! Now I can happily run either Malice or the 3 that it came with! Hooray!

And Sauklaue, that Black Ivan is incredible. Fantastic job!

That's pretty sweet! Where did the gun barrel come from?

Have about 40min done of the 2 hours I've allotted to my Koldun Lord. About 20% more to go on the basecoating and then detailing. Trying to work on painting stuff faster and this is the first test case on several items.

The gun barrel is custom build from plastic tube in 2/4/5.5 mm thickness.

At the moment I am testing paint schemes on some legion shredders. I Think I may be going for a black and silver look. However I have a feeling that my girlfriend my end up wanting them to go along the lines of pink and black.

Finished my Reckoner. At PPS_Meg's suggestion, pushed the shading and highlighting out of the comfort zone I was in. Not completely happy with it, but I'll never learn if I don't push it. Pics when I'm not dead tired!

been on a bit of painting frenzy since i finally got round to using my airbrush. fully painted abby, scythean and raek yesterday. half finished an angelius and base coated and washed 2 shredders, 2 stingers, typhon, carni, 2 forsaken and 2 shepherds. not bad for a days work.

Did a bit of touch-up, finishing-up and evening-out on the Extreme Juggy, all that's left now is painting the Cygnar Heavy Warjack wreck marker I used for the base. Hope to have it all finished for a Warmachine game on Monday!

Also, just over 150 pages left in A Dance with Dragons! And I joined a Song of Ice and Fire roleplaying game on rpol.net!

Last night at work I finished a demo color on a shredder and base coated a carnivean. I decided on a pale teal for the skin, a red for the gum line and an off white for the armor platelets. I'll post a picture after I wake up later.
