MASSIVELY PORTABLE: The podcast about pocket-sized MMORPGs
My app reviews and commentary @ App Chronicles
Per the Retribution forcebook, shortly after the Rivening.
Ok, some more details:
From the IKWC: The Gift, c 150 BR. The Rivening, 140 BR. First sorcerer discovered at Tarna (a young girl named Madruva Dagra).
Quote from the Ret forcebook as relayed by Ryvoas Vyre, 'Even human priests insist this mysterious transaction [the Gift] left a taint on human souls. Research by arcanists, including those of House Vyre, further discovered tenuous clues that human magic exacerbates the fundamtal cosmological dilemmas we suffer as a result of our missing gods. While the evidence is more suggestive than absolute, it seems increasingly likely the escalation of human arcane practices has increased the occurence of soullessness...'

There is still some Thagrosh in there - but having consumed Pyromalefic's athanc, it's far easier for Everblight to come to the forefront. Thagrosh was very much acting as leader/general for the Legion while he was the Prophet. Upon becoming the Messiah, he became far more draconic - it seems as though Thagrosh is often lost to his own body as Everblight comes forth to take greater control.
As such, the Prophet was likely Thagrosh using his own skills while drawing on the power of Everblight. The Messiah is more likely a direct link between power and dragon.
There is also a theory that a certain forest that was forbidden to the elves to the north of the Bloodstone Marches might have something, oh, interesting in it? If Doug reads this, please elaborate (slightly) on what that forest has in it/ what significance that it has to the Elven Gods.
Oh, and Skorne are more like hobgoblins than elves. Yes, both have similar features, but one is a barbaric, shallow minded race that only focuses on themselves, and the other is hobgoblins.

The 'Lost Forest of Ryolyse'? There's a brief mention of it in the Monsternomicon II, but not much. I'd be very interested in hearing more about that too.

It is a forest that the elves originally wanted to go to after the Sundering, but the gods forbade them from entering, saying that there was nothing there that would help the elves, and that there was another forest a ways away that they needed to reach. No one has any idea what is in that forest, and most likely only the elves, giants, some Skorne, and possibly the dwarves.
