Ah, the first non- Dwarf proper merc caster (the only other proper one being Gorten (the pirates are pirates, Ash and Mags have agendas and Durgen just likes to blow stuff up).

Well, color me happy.
I'm thinking that he may not be a "Steelhead" as in having that name in his title/description (which would cut out schenanigains with Brocker and Tactician), but from the little bit of background given, he sounds very much in line with the Steelhead mentality.
I wouldn't be surprised if his Tier list was Steelhead themed, allowing you to field a whole force of 'professional' mercenaries.
So yes, i think Privateer Press has given me a Steelhead Warcaster, without giving me a 'Steelhead' Warcaster.
And do I really have to wait till June? C'mon!

The model looks simple and rugged, everything you would expect from a mercenary. I like it and can't wait for release. I'm not even worried about what he does. I think I might need another mangler though...

Mercenaries are for Warmachine where as Minions are for Hordes. It's possible for a model to be both a Mercenary and a Minion, but I doubt it will be the case with this model. Originally Posted by alchahest

Actually of all the new Warcaster models - Sloan, the creepy Menoth guy, Venerax and Strakov - I think that MacBain easily tops them all in sheer appearance. This guy is unbelievably awesome looking.
