My Deathjack in NoQ#26

It was requested that I post some larger pictures of my Deathjack conversion that got an honorable mention in No Quarter #26.

This is a Deathjack that I converted especially for the spider-rific caster Motenebra. I also converted Morty a bit, and Derilyss. I am painting them now and will be posting more of my stuff up. I promise.

So this beast. He is an 8 legged spider jack of destruction. He has a litle abdomen and everything.

in addition just for scale reference a Slayer comes about up to the gearing section below the abdomen. The only non PP component in the conversion is the coil tube going from the soul furnace entrance to the back of the face mask- so he can actually suck souls through his faceplate.

The only pieces I am having trouble identifying are the hook things attached to the stalker torsos on either arm where the stalkers front legs should attach.

*Edit* Nevermind, those are the mandibles from a Helldiver Bonejack. Added them to the above list.

I didn't know Xhibit pimped hell jacks. Do its horns spin? Too busy good work but too busy.

Aldarionn: For you sir. Well done.

Thunder_God & Joroth: Well it took me an afternoon to assemble it with 5 minute epoxy and pinning, and another afternoon to paint it. I am not a great painter, but I am a pretty darn fast painter. I can paint a squad in a couple evenings no problem, and I promise to start posting more of my stuff.

Agamemnon: Part of the conversion was balancing it so that it would not topple. I love doing conversions, and that was really the part that took the most expertiece. I have not weighted the base yet, but I have fine lead shot I miht glue in there- and that will help lower the center of gravity a lot. So far though in gaming I have had no issues.

The new LoS rules are funny though. He can tower over a building, and as longa s the building si over 3.5" tall you cant see him. Tee hee... tee hee...
