The 'best plays' thread

So I know this forum section is pretty empty right now, but I wanted to start a thread where we can boast about some of our most outrageous plays.

Mine is from last night: a full length 'sudden death' return attempt, in which I used a "Hustle Back" play to set up to return a stopped goal attempt by my goalie all the way to within two spaces of the opposing (undefended) goal, then to smash it in with my final available Crusher that I had redlined for the full +2 spaces to get there! I passed my boiler test, to allow me to make a huge roll of all my available dice.

Using a Pulverizer, I was able to roll 4 action die, 2 power die, and 4 boost die (I got the +1 boost move on it), resulting in 12 strikes to move the grinder just two spaces forward toward a goal with no defender, lol.

That play also gave me the highest momentum so far in my games (10!).


Anyone else with something to crow about?

I like a combo attack with grappler and pulveriser to fling an opposing jack more than halfway across the arena.

I'm working on plays where I can throw the grinder in for a swish from half court and win a thousand dollars.
