The chain is from Amon Ad-Raza's weapon. For the blade on the end I just trimmed it off of the coil of chain that is normally in the assassin's hand.

Just a bit of conversion on the old model. Lengthen the spear, attach a hose from the engine to power the piston, and the banner to add some height to the hunched pose.

This is not a huge mod but I am proud of it. I gave Snapjaw a Nailed on Chain Leash.

    You used pumpkins....

    You win the thread!!!!!

I love the idea is using the headless horseman pumpkin patch theme. It works perfectly, its whimsical, and it was pulled off great. I have a bit of a Halloween fetish. I love everything about it and seeing the Halloween theme in your conversions is a pleasure for me.

I love it! it's just the perfect amount of silly and awesome at the same time!

I'm glad you didn't write "For Pony!" on the base, otherwise I'd be on the floor laughing and waking up the kids.

Also, my ONLY converted figure I have (at least that I will show off)

My Man of War Kovnik, who I raised his arms, his shield position, and changed the angle of his axe-cannon.

It's not too bad. Just chop it towards the top, past where all the Filigree ends, and add a pin to lengthen it. Then you slap a sausage of green stuff on that pin. I used to flat pieces of plasticard to sandwich the green stuff between and flatten it out until it's the same thickness as the rest of the blade, then I let it cure overnight. The plasticard will pop off the next day and you'll have a sword with a big flat piece of green stuff at the end. Then I just used a sharpy to draw the profile of the end of the sword I carefully cut it out with a sharp exacto knife. The last, and trickiest part, is going back and beveling the edges of the blade. There's not really any way to do this easily or perfectly. You might have an easier time if you used brown stuff an filed them down, but in this case I used green stuff and carefully cut the edges of the sword down :P

My favorite, however, (and the only one of these I own!), is this side-steppin' Dervish. I have a trio of these buggers, each in a different pose, but this is the only one I've painted. These are my favorite model to convert (thus far).

I love the 2 Darragh Wrathes (however it's spelled), Finkmonkey and solitaire.

The headless horseman is a great idea. And the transition from the boneswarm into his horse is great.

My Behemoth. Pinned the legs to get rid of the silly walk, turned the guns upside down cause the magazines on top looked silly to me, and left off the spikes (they made the design seem too busy) and little loin covering thing (makes the Behemoth seem more squat than it is). Based it standing atop a Cygnar light wreck marker for a bit of dynamism.

Great models in this thread! So much inspiration.

Here's my version of a common model in this thread. I also have some vanguards, but they're not quite done yet.

Because centers of mass right over the edge of the base are a bad plan:
