My First 15 Points

Going to be starting Hordes very soon and thus have been both reading the forums, the Mk II cards and discussing it with some of my mates like crazy. I must say the big monsters are what drew me to the Legion of Everblight and I knew right off the bat I wanted lots of big monsters instead of a horde approach... Yes I know both Thagrosh, the Messiah and Typhoon are pretty lame choices from a friendly point of view but Thagrosh is my favorite model so far, and the fact that he seems to me to be the best Warlock to handle big monsters. We are going to be starting small at our club, most players are just going to be buying the Warpacks but I really don't want 4 Shredders so decided I'd take the more expensive route and buy my 15 points seperately.

Warlock:
Thagrosh, the Messiah

Warbeasts:
Typhoon
Shredder x2 (Thinking possibly Harrier x2, for the Flight and better base SPD + DEF)

Solo:
The Forsaken

I'd pick pThagrosh in 15 points. You both get more warbeast points, and if say, Typhon, dies, you can get him back.
