I would play that. I do kinda agree about MHA's but I usually only see them distract a little then die before doin anything useful.

This gives me an idea, whats the wording on the charge if a friendly is killed within 5" spell with Vyros. Also, does the Griffon +2 spd stack with the Vyros spell AND does it carry into the opposition turn?

If everything works the way I think it does, you could have a GRiffon charge at speed 10 +3 for charge +2 for reach and slam something. Or does it need to be B2B to slam? Also do you need to spend a focus to charge with that spell?

Why two Phoenixes? A Hydra or a manticore could both bring some utility here. I am starting to like my Manticore especially; his Covering Fire template is a little taste of board control, and no one expects those nasty POWs in melee.

I also agree that some Mage Hunter goodness would go down well. Heck, even swapping the less-useful Nayl out for pEiryss would tune up the list a little.

IIRC they stack in activation, but you only get one +2 out of activation.

I'd presume because they both can kill a lot at once (combustion), and have reach (as well as a gun) for maximum use of birdseye, and flank.

I too think some extra utility (from other jacks) would be good though.
Sometimes you have to make lemons out of lemonade.
