    Default Borka Kegslayer

So I have been assembling a troll army themed around Borka. Been painting all my trolls and trollkins with a northern frost like skin. Mixed with a little of the normal darker blue trollkins to signify trolls joining him on his journey. I finally came around to painting my Borka. It took about 8 hours in a 2 day time frame, but he is finished. What you guys think?

/me rubs his eyes, but it doesn't help.

Better pics! What I can see looks good.

What I can see looks good, but I do agree with the squid - the table is in focus, but the model isn't.

That's better, AoS - he looks good, though I'd recommend a wash on the gold/bronze metal areas, just to shade them and fetch out a little of the detail.

Nice freehand work on the arms though - Trolls wit' tats, eh?

Yeah it states in the Evolution book that, "The northern trolls come from a harsh climate and like to reflect this by covering the exposed parts of their bodies with tattoos." I plan on making my kriel warrior shaman with almost full body tats. I was thinking of maybe putting some tats on my trolls... but I don't see a troll just standing there while a trollkin starts to brand him. I just see one dead trollkin.

Hey! nice work! I like the details you've added--the animal print, the tattoos, the dark blue tartan. Good stuff. I also really like the Axer's armor. It gives a nice light rusty feel. I'll second Antagonis on the use of washes. You have a good sense of highlighting (faces especially), but the washes will help deepen the shadows a bit and give a further richness.
