Joking aside, that's a whole lot of frelling Cygnar! I like the quartering on the shields/tabards. Very nice!

    In MKI I loved playing:

    Darius
    Squire
    7x Hammermsiths
    eStryker
    Squire

It was a pretty basic list. Lots of beat down and was unbeatable in MM. eStryker cast positive charge on 2 of the HS then stood back, Darius cast full throttle (upkeep Jack Hammer) have 3 Focus on JH jack. Then watch them charge in everything swinging 3 dice to hit and then Pow 18 hammers. Rinse Repeat.

I was slowly building a list that I never got done.

    pHaley, squire
    eStryker, squire
    40 Stormguard
    38 Steelhead
    Rupert

Double feat turn was going to be CRAZY!!!!

Set def all over the place. Double feat would give what... mumble...mumble....cary the.... 130 posssible eleaps with Rupert.

MKII seems to have messed that up. As you can see I have 32 Stormguard and now they are one of our more maligned units. The 30 Halbadiers that I do have will still be useful. Devilsquid is proof of that.

Sheesh! As much as I try not to like the default Cygnar colors, I just can't help but be impressed by such a large and well painted force, and I can't help but like the striking blue on the green grassy fields. Fantastic work. Could you even begin to estimate how many hours you've put into these guys so far? :P

To opponents of this force... my condolences.

Well as much as I hate Cygnar blue, this army is unique, and it's not all JUST Cygnar blue with some metallics, so I must say, this is by far the coolest use of blue on Cygnar I've seen yet.

It breaks away from the studio look bigtime, and that's what I wish more people would strive to do. Make the pieces YOUR OWN, don't be affraid to be different and unique.

It makes playing the game ALOT more fun too if you ask me, esspecially when you see an army you must double take at, because it looks sooo good, that you don't know what it is from the start across the board, because it's not another crappy clone of the studio paint jobs.

    Bravo!

FREAJKING Suh-WHEETTT! THe whole army is pulled together well and the only critique I would make is to either thin down your white a hair more while painting, or go over it with a gloss coat, adn then a dull coat to smooth them out. Massive props to you, that is terrific.

    ................
    Simply amazing

I'm guessing you finally got the Mrs to agree with your deal of selling off the other armies and buying everything possibly fieldable by Cygnar

Really dig the Ranger chest armor, the Hammersmiths just look downright intimidating. The Stormsmiths are also particularly nice.

Wish I could get motivated to paint even 1/4 of that amount.

Thanks for the SS complement. I worked on them pretty hard. I wish the Ranger pics came out better, worked pretty hard on them. Unfortunatly I'm still painting on a 3' scale... looks good from 3' but macro really shows where I need improvement.

Well I did sell off my POM army. It was not as large but it did consist of almost 1 of everything and a least 2 of every jack through Legends. The deal I put to her was sell everything else and buy model for model the Storm Division 6th of Strykers. It was more of a joke than anything. I hope once I get everything painted to find someone that can field as much from another faction as I can then have an all out war. My mental overall goal is to have:

    1X Every Character
    2X Every unit (max)
    2X Every UA
    4X Maybe 6X every WA
??X Every Jack- can you ever have to many jacks?
Another house to keep it in

I want the jacks in a round number so that they line up well and look well...over the top. Since I already have 7 Hammersmiths that may be my number. Unfortunatly I want 9 Hunters for a Kray list so 10 may end up being my rounded out number. There are also the Marshals that will get their fav jack branded to them. Gun mage officer will probably get a branded Hunter, Cyclone, Defender ect.

This is a hobby right. So I set my bar achievement bar pretty high. My wife doesnt understand why a game would keep coming out with new playing pieces. "They are just trying to keep making money off you" she says. Well yeah!! This isnt Monopoly sweetheart. But she loves me enought to tollerate it.

I like the use of blue in the army, but i really have this thing with painted front arcs. I tends to pull away from the nicely painted mini and washes out the color. Its just my opinion.

I really like the overall feel though

You don't have enough! You require more Cygnar models (and vespene gas)! Still it's ridiculously impressive. I especially like the precursor knights and centurion/hammersmiths: they are really clean looking, and the checkered pattern is awesome.

Wow. You rarely see this many painted models in one place, and it's even more rare to see that each model has been given such close attention. You are an inspiration to us all.

So many well painted models. Its hard for a Warmachine player to make a 40k Apocalypse army look small, but mission accomplished.

I feel the same way about painted front arcs, and I feel that it might be better to paint the back arcs and leave the front arcs black.

Well I have yet to figure out how to do it well. I want to have a small white swan in the centre of the front arc but as of yet I am not sure hot to do it so that it looks right. I would love it if I could get my wifes cricut to cut a white "sticker" but I am not good enough to hack/program it.

I had thought of makeing a clay mold then filling it so I could have relief but I have not done it as of yet.

Anybody have any ideas on how to do it? As you can see I will only need...300+ of them.

I love the quartered paint scheme! In general, because I think it brings a strong fantasy/medieval tone to the full metal fantasy setting. More specifically, because you pulled it off so well! I especially dig the vests on your ranger unit and that you managed to paint almost every Hammersmith slightly differently within a relatively confined scheme.

Bravo sir! I bet you could make some pretty boss looking Nomads/Talons.

Just finished Laddermore!! I was afraid of painting her for the longest time. After just deciding to go for it I was suprised at how much I liked painting her. The crest on her sheild and horses flank were my favorite parts. Now I just wish she was more playable...will have to work her into my lists now.

Here are my temp pics until I can get a friend over with better camera/photo skills than me.

Who in Menoth's name is playing 1000 points in MM during MkI?!

ME!! Darius was the MM king in MKI.

If I faced a lot of infantry trampeling was not as bad with FT + eStrykers Positive charge going. Extra distance + 3 dice to hit didnt make it a suicide mission. One lucky HS that had Jackhammer upkept on it would decimate any jack on the table.

I generally had a double feat turn that decimated the enemy. I would keep jacks close enough together so one halfjack could bring back two hammersmiths. Then eStryker would kill anything he touched.

Best part of it was nobody expects that many heavy jacks. Especially when faceing Cygnar. Basicly they had to kill 14 jacks to get to me.
