    Default Magical Weapons

    Hi!

Has someone of you had any experiences with ghosts or other stuff immune to normal attacks ?

    I think about the following:

Harby + 2 Paladins and Vilmon (against some armies it still works and I think against nearly all legion armies...)

    2 Pistol Wraiths

    Void spirit

    and so on.

Someone else realised that we have no way to get good magical weapons ?

With other armies I didn't see the same problem. But all we have are casters, the sorceress and the swordmaster UA (but only granted).

So how do we play against such stuff ?

We're got it better against Incorporeal than we did in MK I, that's for sure. Void Spirits were the bane of my existence.

    Ugh.

That said: It's one of the built-in Legion weaknesses. Much like Stealth is to other factions. Playing against it involves contingency plans. If you're going to enter a tournament, keeping an alternate list on the cuff that includes at least some degree of anti-magical-only elements.

A Nyss Sorc is probably the best best here, as she is already complimentary to a viable, Saeryn-Flying-Circus.

If you're having problems with spooks we have a few answers

Ranged magical bows on Lylyth is useful.
    Sorceress frostbite very good.
Swordsmen UA for massed spook removal.
    Use your offensive spells.

    Huh. eThagrosh's breath is not.

I might want to feedback that it should be. His offensive spells are expensive.

not ever legion caster has a good offensive spell, or cannot hit with one anyways.... or doesnt even have one (absylonia)

really the only problem i see with ghosts are those damn ghost pirates.... swordsman with UA will rarely find themselves in lists over legionarres (for one legionares are cheaper and cooler)

The Nyss Sorceress is a good choice. Her spells are able to hit the enemy fairly reliably, and her speed and manueverability allow her to get to where she needs to be.
Aside from her and the Swordsmen UA, our only other option is going to be with our casters, or waiting for the incorporeal model to attack.
