Default Kriel Warrior Standard & Piper/Stone Forged

Tough says: When this model is disabled, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, this model heals 1 damage point, is no longer disabled, and is knocked down."

    The Standard/Piper says:

Stone-Forged - Once per game while in formation, this model can use this ability during its unitʼs activation. When a model in
this unit that is in formation is disabled, it heals 1 damage point and is knocked down on a Tough roll of 4, 5, or 6. Stone Forged
    lasts for one round.

The wording on Stone-Forged has an unclear antecedent. As it reads, it could be interpreted as the model auto heals for one and then checks for knockdown on a roll of 4,5, or 6. The intent seems that you take a normal tough roll on 4 5 or 6, but the language seems like it could be different. So which is it? I know it is silly to ask, but clarification is better than assuming I have found.

To clarify, is it: Models auto heal for one and then check for knockdown on a tough roll of 4,5, or 6

or is it: Models make a tough roll. On a 4, 5, or 6 they heal one point and are knocked down.

That's the right solution. It reads like: "..., it heals 1 damage point [on a Tough roll of 4, 5, or 6] and is knocked down on a Tough roll of 4, 5, or 6. ..."

Maybe the wording should be corrected to be in line with wording on other tough rules. So leave feedback

Is it me or does it make no difference?

If you have Stone-Forged, you also have Steady.

Not that the wording shouldn't be fixed of course

You are right, if you get stone-forged you will be steady as long as the Standard bearer isn't killed somehow while stone-forged is active.

    edit: mixed something up ...

Stone Forged works just like Doc's No I'm Fine ability:
No, Iʼm Fine - When another friendly Privateer model makes a Tough roll of 4, 5, or 6 while in this modelʼs command range, that model heals 1 damage point and is knocked down.
Stone-Forged - Once per game while in formation, this model can use this ability during its unitʼs activation. When a model in this unit that is in formation is disabled, it heals 1 damage point and is knocked down on a Tough roll of 4, 5, or 6. Stone Forged lasts for one round.
The wording on Stone Forge may need to be tweeked alittle to say something like "When a model in this unit that is in formation is disabled and when it makes a tough roll, on a 4, 5, or 6, it heals 1 damage point and is knockdown."

And yes Steady will allow the model to not be knockdown if it make's it's Tough Roll.

Since there is no comma (,) separating the heal part and the 4,5,6 part, it should read as a single sentence. Hence it reads on a roll of 4,5,6 it heals 1 point and is knocked down.
