Samurai: thank you, sir! And I get what you're saying, but I only gave him two arms, because he only used two when riding that big wheel thingy. As for palpatine head, that is a vampire head from puppets war miniatures, with a little GS modification to the forehead.
Theodosius: thank you! That's quite the compliment coming from a non Star Wars fan.
Kharnage, maximum, Tesoe: wow, I really don't know what to say, you guys are very kind!

Now I feel like I need to show you my old General Grievous too.
Not sure about the more recent additions as they are starting to deviate a bit more from the models they are suppose to represent.
At the same time they really capture their Star Wars counterpart even better.
Dude!!!!! That far and away out classes my stuff. That droid army is ON POINT!
Feel free to take any inspiration you can.
Sorry for the long hiatus. I still don't have an update to the army, but I wanted to share my new iron kingdoms character.
Prince Gregori Torinskyev. Warcaster/knight.
Youngest son of the great prince Ryczek Torinskyev of the northern and slightly "backward" Volozk Duwurkyn. He is ironically the most capable, yet least likely to inherit. A devout follower of the old God, as a young boy he was inducted into the Order of the Old God, a knightly order devoted to an ancient less "harsh" interpretation of the will of Menoth. He was an experienced squire, ready to take the final challenge to become a knight, when his focuser abilities became known. The order, being khadoran, and thus still patriotic, sent him the Druzhina, to learn to harness his Menoth given gift. There he became an exemptionally trained officer and potent combatant. The harsh training was enough for the order to fully ordain him as a knight, and they allowed him to serve in the khadoran army to help spread the true will of Menoth.
As a Kommander, he developed a reputation as a very pious man and a tenacious leader with strong convictions, even though they made him somewhat naive. This came to a head when he was sent to head off the great northern crusade. He did his duty, however he was subtly disgraced when he allowed a large contingent of the Menoth army to retreat, when he could have completely crushed them. His argument was that it would not have set a good example for the large menite population in the region still loyal to the empress. However his superiors did not see it that way. Worried that he might eventually defect to the Protectorate, his command was taken from him.
He currently has been assigned as an agent of The Greylords Covenant. Here his considerable skill can be utilized while his old fashioned sense of honor can be kept "in check."
He is garbed in an ancient set of knights armor that has been converted into warcaster armor. Each scratch and scar is lovingly preserved as a reminder of Menoth's protection. His great sword, "Winter's Wrath" brings a uniquely khadoran "interpretation" to spreading the word.
Thanks for reading

Such a fun army! I hope to play against this someday. Reinholdt and Rhupert are just a few of my favorite mods!
Keep up the great work!
Finished up my trenchers, just need to be based. "Imperial troops have entered the base! Imperial troops have entered the base!" The venerable snow troopers.
Thanks F.Monkey. I've really enjoyed doing this plog and I'm happy you guys have enjoyed it too. One of these days I'll take this to a major con. And I hope to play many of you guys.

I adore your snow troopers! It's amazing what a little gs work and paint can accomplish.
So I finished runewood. Being a sword knight, I kind of look at them as precursors to the stormblades. Because of this I'm painting them like clone troopers. Hope you like him. I had a really fun time painting this one for some reason. Maybe it's because I don't paint yellow often.
Tapecrawler- thank you. While sometimes I've done some heavy conversions on this page. I have to agree that my favorite ones are really the ones that were very simple and that can rely on the paint job to do the selling. Thanks again, I really like how they turned out.
I wasn't sold on him either, but that paint job really brought him home. Nice job!
Thank you sir! I've found that often the paint job is what brings everything together.
Here's another model I just finished. It's snapjaw the rancor.
Now I have a question for everyone. What should I do about wrong eye? I could try to make the fat guy whose like the caretaker, but I kind of feel wrong eye would be better suited as a Hutt. And he would still be thematic...
The caretaker would be a better fit, particularly given how the models work on the table, but you should do whatever you prefer :-)
I support non-image bloated signatures. My sense of humour is deficient.
Post count equates time spent typing online and nothing more.
My r̶a̶n̶d̶o̶m̶ extremely specific batreps
Thanks for the nice comments guys. I really appreciate you guys putting up with my random thoughts.
Divide: fair enough. I personally still thought it made him look like a giant gator, and I wanted that leather skin look. Clearly I wasn't as successful as I thought. Perhaps I'll have to revisit it.
Ok so you guys have made some good arguments for the caretaker. Any ideas of what model I should base him on? Honestly malakus, is the right shape, but I don't think my GS skills are good enough to resculpt the entire surface of the model.
Amazing. What an ambitious undertaking. Great job seeing it through. You've done some very creative work!
Dude, this is freakin' awesome! My inner nerd approves greatly of this. What's the next model you plan to make? I think you could make a good Chewbacca and Han Solo out of Herne and Jonne.
Thank you gents. As for malakili the caretaker, I think I'm going to make him out of bosun grogspar. My only concern his his head, I'm going to have to figure something out there. Currently I'm working painting my clone sword Knights. These are taking longer than I would like because they are much more detailed that the trenchers or the stormblades.
Kronos: that is a really good suggestion. I kind of want to use han as a warcaster tho. In fact here is what i was thinking on doing for the merc casters. Thoughts?
Shae- Han Solo
Ashlynn- Asoka Tano
Macbain- Obi Wan Kenobi
Bart- Lando Calrissian
Fionna- Leia Organa
And if I do manage to use dwarves later down the line,
Finished up magnus 2 or endor luke. The model was very convenient as I didn't have to do much converting at all. A note on the cloak: I looked at the movie and the rebel cloaks do not look like convincing camouflage, hence the colors I chose. What do you think?
And here's a few WiPs.
Sylys as bib fortuna

Divide: I'm working on it. Turning it into some sort of little Hoth creature.
Llane: thank you, lol. It's not as tough as it seems. When I start a project I always end up mixing more GS than I need, so while the first model is drying I'm using the rest if the GS o the other models. It allows me to get a lot of projects done quicker.
