    Default Stats help

okay so, my players are going to be facing down their Iron Lich nemesis that they have been tracking down throughout the campaign.
Now This Iron Lich has a small battle group (two bone jacks) one is a Defiler and the other is a Nightwrech. I am needing to come up with some base stats for the Jacks.
Now I am pretty much using the stats provided in a NQ about the under jack only tweeked a bit I.E. more speed less armor the lick.
But what I am needing help with is the stats for those jacks weapons. now the doom spitter i wanted to give the acid quality, but what would be a good range...and same for the sludge cannon? and just how much damage should they do? outside of the normal acid damage?

    thanks in advance.

mm first thing to ask here is how many inthe pc party and how many on the other side. then we get to what are their levels.

if this is the end of the campaign then your wanting an encounter that will push them as hard as you can

of your setting the doom spitter as a "flamethrower" like effect make it a cone with about a 40 ft range tho i have to say 80 foot range wouldnt be to far out of the mark if there above about 10th level ....

the ohter question to ask what range will the party want to engage at (hell if it were my group i could be safe in planning for them to engage at 200 to 300 feet )

basically use the GM fudge theory to have the encounter do what you want it to do and if it gets too hard for them tone it down ... this can all be done on the fly

not realy much help i guess but without knowing more about the group its a hard to say whats fair
if you only remember one thing remember this:
Violence is never the answer, it is a question to which the answer is... Yes (or ocasionally HELL YES)
