I don't suppose mechanics can repair a jack that is in combat? What if they are in combat can they still make the repairs?

This is how you really annoy people in melee combat with KarchevGenerally you won't heal all the damage, but you can keep critical systems up and running.
This is one of the abilities that makes mechanics solid gold for Khador, Our jacks have more hit boxes, and it takes bigger hits to get rid of them, so each point repaired is generally more valuable then a point repaired on a easier to kill model, and the bunch of boxes generally means they won't fold up in one round of combat, so you can repair.
I strait out love my MK2 Mechanics
My Protectrate forces have discovered this many times, much to thier dismay. But I will soon have my own mechanics and you too will feel the frustation of almost killing a jack and having it kill you back. For the glory of Menoth!
My problem with Protectorate jacks is they don't believe in a stand up fight. The Choir Boys are always polishing their pipes, and the stupid Vassal's Enliven gets me so angry.
I've learned to hunt down your Vassals and murderize them.
I'm with you my man. Repair 7 for all of the Mechaniks and they can assist each other now. On top of that they get the swanky new Iron Sentinel ability. Oh yeah, they're also cheap to field.
I think that many of my MKII lists will begin with Mechaniks, Wardog, and Bokur.
To the OP-just remember you can't charge and Repair.
I'm actually going through a bit of Beast Handler envy right now, so can't bring myself to love Mechaniks. Glad Protectorate finally got theirs though. Wrench fight!
