Default [khador] - how far i've come

Since RL is demanding it's share, i have to sign out from "A tale of Warmahordes"

Since it will be a long time before i'll be able to pick up the brushes again, i wanna show you how far i've come

    Notes:
Juggy 06 was initially meant to be beast 09. After getting the real 09 for birthday he become an ordinary juggy again. Now sorscha has 3 juggies: 04, 06, 09
The davastator is one and the same, it's openable (you can see the L-shaped pin on his left arm in the picture on the left). It's more a fun conversion. In fact you never open/close it in gaming, you eventually just pull away disabled arms.

2nd post because of 4 pic limit:

As you can see, most of them aren't based yet. I'll do it, once i painted at least enough models for a 50point list. You can see on the mortar or the wardog, how the bases will be: plain baking soda snow.

PS: don't ask why the wardog is painted like a cow. I don't know. While i was painting him, it looked like a good idea. Maybe he will see nitro solvent sooner or later.

please tell me you used a template, or something besides freehand on those jacks, because if those are freehands I'm going to just stop painting right now. looks great though, your winterguard looks fantastic.

I am very impressed by your color scheme. It looks clean and very nicely blended. It most certainlly looks amazing on table top.

Especially the devastator, not just the removable arms man, the whole paint scheme is just awesome. I love the use of the yellow and black strips. Speaking of which, what yellow do you use?

Wow, that pose of Beast 09 looks great! Did you do any cutting or did you just glue him together creatively?

    answering each of you:
    - the numbers are actually freehanded. In fact they are really easy, you just don't have to be afraid of painting lots of layers over each other, e.g. let's do a 1

    - i used Revell Aquacolor's yellow matt (bought 4 years ago, back in the day it was the only color available to me) painted on GW's dheneb stone (because the yellow hasn't any coverage)
    - actually i did some cutting on beast. I streched his left leg and leghthened his waist.

That's a really great looking army, the conversion on Devastator is pretty cool - never saw him assembles like that before.

Thought the waists were lengthened. The jacks look brilliant. I think I might actually prefer 6 to 9
