    Default Hexeris 2 a different 75pt

So I've been having some problems with my local meta and need some new ideas. My meta has just about one player of almost every faction. Khador has been a huge problem, (go figure), specifically irusk 1(?). I was thinking of trying this:

    Skorne - hexeris 2

    74 / 75 Army
Lord Arbiter Hexeris - WB: +27
    - Titan Cannoneer - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 17)
    - Cyclops Brute - PC: 8 (Battlegroup Points Used: 8)
    - Cyclops Raider - PC: 9 (Battlegroup Points Used: 2)
    - Cyclops Savage - PC: 8
    - Cyclops Savage - PC: 8
    Mortitheurge Willbreaker - PC: 4
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor - PC: 4
    Tyrant Zaadesh - PC: 4
    - Titan Gladiator - PC: 14
    - Cyclops Shaman - PC: 8
    Extoller Soulward - PC: 3
    Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5
    Paingiver Bloodrunners - Leader & 5 Grunts: 9

The problem, is whatever I use has to chew through two full 10+ man units and a freaking conquest. Irusk also prevents blast damage and provides tough to most of his army. It's been a real pain, and I'm really not sure what to due, so any ideas welcome.

Here are a few tweaks while trying to maintain the original list.

Lord Arbiter Hexeris - WB: +27
    - Titan Gladiator - PC: 14 (Battlegroup Points Used: 14)
    - Titan Cannoneer - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13)
    - Razor Worm - PC: 7
    - Cyclops Brute - PC: 8

    Tyrant Zaadesh - PC: 4
    - Cyclops Savage - PC: 8
    - Cyclops Savage - PC: 8
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor - PC: 4
    Venator Dakar - PC: 4

    Venator Reivers - Leader & 9 Grunts: 15
    - Venator Reiver Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4
    Paingiver Bloodrunners - Leader & 5 Grunts: 9

With almost no anti range tech to speak of senators should be able to chew through slot of that infantry with black spot.
The razor worm is an amazing arc node for hexy.
Slingers may also work as they're AOEs don't cause damage just corrosion.

Edit: Gah just realized I forgot the most important unit!
You could drop the bloodruners for a min unit of paingivers and another master tormentor.

So then that puts us at this:

    War Room Army
    Skorne - Hexeris Revamp
    75 / 75 Army

Lord Arbiter Hexeris - WB: +27
    - Titan Cannoneer - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 17)
    - Titan Gladiator - PC: 14 (Battlegroup Points Used: 10)
    - Razor Worm - PC: 7
    - Cyclops Brute - PC: 8
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor - PC: 4
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor - PC: 4
    Tyrant Zaadesh - PC: 4
    - Cyclops Savage - PC: 8
    - Cyclops Savage - PC: 8
    Venator Dakar - PC: 4
    Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5
    Venator Reivers - Leader & 9 Grunts: 15
    - Venator Reiver Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4

Thus actually is kinda vindicating, I had been looking into the venerator package more and more lately. It's going to be a while before I can get them though, so would a cannonier and a Cyclops raider be enough range pressure?

Well he can only iron flesh one unit and it will probably be the iron fangs. So. Canonier with black spot should chew through the winter guard.
There isn't a lot of shooting in skorne that can really threaten a conquest short of rasheth with a mammoth. Although a CRA from the rievers should ding it up pretty badly.
The master tormentors will be a great counter to his iron fangs since they need to bunch up. Keep them back until your opponent comits them.

The thing about the Iron fang pikemen and irusk, is that he can spread them out to stop the thrasher with ease. I don't have much that would force the shield wall, and with irusk the can tough as many times as the rolls allow. I do have a mammoth, but by the time I get close enough for black spot, I seem to be too far behind on objective.

AP prevents tough so that helps. And if they don't shield wall your venators will probably shoot them all off the table in one turn with black spot.
Neither are guaranteed but it's not a hopeless battle.

That is very true, the problem I have right now is that I really can't buy anything new to help out until mid March. It's really been boging things up for me.
