Default Jump, one by one or everyone move then jump?

I activate a unit of Ferox. Do I first make a full advance on each of the models, then jump them, or do I move and jump them one by one?

Rules as written, you can mix the two - the only restriction is that you jump after advancing and before combat action. That's not unit wide, that's per model, so you can advance one, advance another, jump the first one, advance a third, etc.

Unfortunately, rules as written may not apply. Jump uses similar wording to assault, and assault was ruled to only be usable after all models in the unit advanced and before any took their combat actions. That ruling hasn't made it into any errata, so you just need to know it.

So according to the rules you can do it whenever, but be prepared for an infernal to reverse it.

Yeah, that assault ruling is actually probably what caused the confusion.

But good to hear that the rules are pretty clear on this, at least for now.
