The only thing I'm not a fan of is the green. Everything else looks pretty and clean. Good job.
Love it! Even though it is filthy Legion...

Did you have an extra behemoth bit? tthat thing the shredder is on looks awfully familiar.
Also, that shepherd's staff looks incredibly intricate. Nice work.
You don't like the presence of the green, or just the execution? I'm kinda fond of it myself, although it's little rough on some of the models (like the hellion).
Close. My berzerker came with three arms. I really like the way the red contrasts the shredder's skin.
I LOVE the green. Nice little splash of colour to mix it up. Well done!
Wow... really clean paintjobs! I dig the white armor, and dark skin combo. they really look awesome man!
Lovin' the Black skin / white plating scheme (ignore the fact that it's similar, abit MUCH better done then mine :P), dark elf look came out nice too.
I really like that "bone color" on the armor, looks really good![]()
Most impressive work! Vayl's cloak is really nice and the dragoon is sweet. The hair on the chick is nice. What colours are you using for the beast skin? It's a nice shade, whatever it is.
I'm not 100% but I think that the beast skin is coal black and then its just mixed with menoth white to varying degrees for the lighter sections.
If I am incorrect I apologize and I'm sure my brother will be along eventually to correct me.
These look great - especially like the skin tones (characters and beasts) - love the way Vayl's headpiece looks like it is made of Ivory/bone.
I really dig the ivory/bone colors you have used on top of the dark under colors. Very cool!
ive loved your scheme since i first saw it on CMON.
Love them.
I especially like the ivory armor. What was your process for it, if you don't mind sharing?
1. Start with Menoth White Base
2. Wash with VMC English Uniform (another med brown should work)
3. Drybrush with MWB
4. Drybrush with bone white
5. highlight the edges with bone white, maybe mix in some pure white
That's a wonderful monochromatic scheme. I think the Shepard is my favorite.
Love it. Really really nice. Love the contrast and the bone look.
Was thinking of doing my Reaper in bone to see how it looked, definitely will give that a go now.
...is Moe peeing on that jack?
Love the look, I think the carnivean is my favorite.
No, you have me confused. The green is done well just like everything else. Far better than I could do. I just think it looks a little unnatural. Plus, I don't like green as a color overall. I don't know why.
This is my favorite legion scheme I have seen! Good job!
i like it, very drowish.
I like it ALOT. I like the green. I'd like to see a little green on all the models just for the tie-in factor (I'm psycho like that) but I wouldn't want to change Vayl - she's awesome. I really like the Angelius also. I think I'd like to see a little more shading/high-lighting on the green, especially in the gums and I'd like to see it fade into the black skin a little more.
Overall very stunning and eye-catching.
wow, this is really awesome. the whole sceme works really well together and the detailing on the wings and scales is great.
well done.
I had to go back and look for the green. I didn't even notice it on the first pass (I was still getting past the "wow" from the absolutely stunning Vayl and Shepard though.)
Lovely work. I went with a similar color for the armor on my Skorne, though this is way better executed than anything I could manage.
I love the Legion paint scheme you have come up with!
Very sharp. I've seen these before but hey, they still look great.
The only legion I like, and I REALLY like it.
I have to agree with Fynox. I love the scheme- the black skin contrasts with the bone really brings these guys out. The green, though, to me, takes away from it... it draws me eye right to it. Would have been better is it were a darker hue of red- scab red with a touch highlight.
This is especially true of that Carnivean- what a beautiful model!!! If only the mouth weren't green.
Excelsior!
The green is a little distracting. Look at the difference between the Shredder and your other beast. Ther green not only overpowers the color scheme but it doesnt feel like it completly fits. There isn't a lot of color on the model currently so almost anything that you paint the mouth/gills will draw attention to them. Red may standout just as much if not more. I might try a darker shade of the bone but then I am not sure there either.
The models look absolutly great the painting looks solid... very very nice.
I actually intended for the green to stand out. On the stock scheme, that's a pinkish color, but I wanted to emphasize how unnatural dragons are, so I figured any vulnerable areas should be a weird color.
To each his own though, glad you all seem to like them for the most part. I got a Raek for Christmas, so I'm really looking forward to painting it up and adding it to the list here.
finally.. found a painted sorcerous on hellion! by the way great scheme tonyzahn.
was wondering if any one else glued the arm in the forward spear pose. Couldnt fit it in my foam upright and i think it looks pretty good this way.. a little bit unnatural but not way outta wack.. wondered if it would be fine once it was painted and i can see from yours it will look great.
i actual really like the green you used. I agree with the unnatural dragon blight. I did mine in orange and i think it works.. anyway keep up the good work and thanks for the inspiration.
Vayl and Shepard are really good - love the Shepard's hook
The icy look of Vayl's hand is quite a nice effect as well - makes me shiver just looking at her![]()
I had a scheme very much like that with my legion.
