    Default Counter charge triggers

    What triggers counter charge.

I'll use Ol'rowdy as the counter charging model in the example.

Rowdy has a model within 6 inches, there is no obstacle between the two and he has LOS.

On the opponents turn the enemy model forfeits it's movement to aim. Is this a trigger?

    How about this one

The enemy model has reach and is 1 and half inches from Rowdy. The enemy model moves zero inches. Is this a trigger?

First example Rowdy does not charge because the enemy model did not advance before ending it's movement.

Second example has Rowdy engaged, therefore no counter charge.

An enemy model must both advance and end that movement within range of the model to trigger counter charge.

Forfeiting movement is not advancing, so doesn't fulfill the first clause of the trigger.
Counter charge cannot be used when the model is engaged, as per your second example.

Try using the search function next time. This question has been asked and answered ad nauseum.

Counter charge has two trigger conditions and one situational condition that must be met.
    1. The enemy model must Advance.
    2. The enemy model must end its movement within 6" and LOS of the model.
    3. The model with counter charge must not be engaged.

If the enemy model forfeits its movement, item 1 has not been met. No counter charge.
If an enemy model is engaging the counter charger, the trigger conditions don't matter since the move would be illegal anyway.
If a model is within 6" and not engaging the counter charger and it chooses to Advance 0", then all conditions have been met and you can activate counter charge.
