Hello all, I'm a cryx player thats slowly building up a Skorne army as my 2nd Faction. Reasons why? Well I think of them as kinda opposite in playstyle to Cryx. True they have some tricky casters Mordikar and Zall I think, but I like the tough as nails warbeasts and infantry. So I've come up with two lists, first ones a simple Xerxes brick, second I'm still humming and hah'ing over. I would like to run Mordikaar for the second, but I'm at a loss for the warbeasts to use really.
The Brick:
Xerxes
Bassilisk Kare
Bronzeback
Gladiator
Full Centari
Min Venerators
Max Beast handlers or Min Beast handlers and 1 feralgiest
Mordikaar
Molin Kar
Savage
Shaman
full Acurai
full Karax
max handlers
Void Spirit
Comments and criticism muchly appreciated

silly me. Troll bloods moved up and threw javalins. Hitting the one Savage outside my control range and doing a bit of damage to him. Mardak cast his defense buff, steady ground? On my second turn the savage outside my control area frenzied LOL. Charged an Impailer and did little damage due to my terrible damage rolls. These bad damage rolls would continue throughout the whole game, most aggrivatingly. Mardak cast fury on the gladiator and other savage. The savage made a successfull charge against an impailer in some forests, while the gladiator failed a slam attempt on the troll axer. Sadly out of range. The savage that charged did little damage thanks to that game long string of bad damage dice. On trolls turn the axer attacked the gladiator, while Mardak and the javalin dude finished off the savage outside my control range. The Imailer that was in the forest swung a missed the savage, who had been damaged only by my maltreatment of it. On my third turn I vainly tried to finish off the Implaier in the forest, but the dice hatted me. Morghul stepped in and tried to finish it off as well, but couldnt quite finish the job. Really really bad damage ****. So I feated, leaving Mardak to leach only 1 fury next turn. The gladiator stepped up and whacked at the undamaged axer and wounded Impailer. It killed the Impailer and wounded the Axer. On the troll turn Mardak moved up and tried to help finish off the gladiator, who was standing tall after being healed up for 6 points of damage over two turns. The gladiator would not fall though, and without boosted attack rolls, the rest whiffed. Next round I stepped forward morghul and gave Mardak a whooping, dealing point after single point to him. He was left with three wounds, but I had forgotten to keep 1 fury to heal up his Mind. Cursing myself for my forgettfullness I boosted an attack roll with the gladiator to finally finish off Mardak.
