The first Mark 2 event at the Vault, please let the store know your needs so they can order your rulebooks and card decks. Please try to be updated on the new rules, so the event can run as smoothly and quickly as possible.

Point Size: Will let you know ASAP

Though this is a warmachine only event I'd be willing to let people who only have hordes play. I will warn them though the only prize from the kit they can win is the Champion coin. Warmachine Faction coins will go to those with the best record in faction. As usual once the kit is paid for extra goes to door prizes and what not.

Not sure how you guys feel about the points in Greensburg. We've been playing all 35 point games up here. It seems to work well. You get more points than a 500 pt. MKI list but less than a 750 pt. MKI list. I played one 50 pt. game and it took forever. I'm sure it'll be fun whatever the points. We can't wait!

Thanks for the great event, Les. A good time was had by all, and summed up best by Brenda today, IMO.

"I've been to a lot of tourneys you guys have played in, and at the end of some there was a really tense and negative atmosphere in the room. Yesterday, everyone was relaxed, laughing, talking smack and having a good time, and you could tell it had been a really fun day."

I had a blast. My MKII games have all been good, close games and the four I played yesterday were no exception. It was awesome that 16 players showed up. That's a new Vault record! I hope that the guys from Pittsburgh had a good time too and keep coming back. See ya'll in Duncansville on the 2/13 and back in Greensburg on 2/27.

I'm glad everyone had a great time. The turnout was awesome, and it was nice that we had all the factions. I'm not sure if it was the players, the event or a mix of the two that really lead to the fun of the event.

Wow, you had all the factions AND 16 players. You would have suspended the Legion fest while I was away at class.

Well we had all the warmachine factions (everyone wanted coins). However out of 16 players, 7 were cryx players. The dragon fathers disciples showed up in force for there coin.

And only one of Lord Toruk's vassals was worthy enough to take it home. True, Karchev may have beaten me, but perhaps that was merely yet another part of his glorious design?

I keep checking the mirror to see if I'm growing scales or horns, but no luck yet.

Did any tier lists show up?

I do believe the retribution was using one. I believe it was a tier 2 Kalyeesa list? John would have to post to be sure.

Merc player was using Highborn so no tier there.

Had there not been the communications snafu between Geist and I, I was going to rock a tier 4 Magnus list, which is stupidly easy to do.

Sigh. Can we have our Tiers, yet?
