Question Regarding Plastics and Glue

I remember some talk about the plastic models not being compatible with some glue, however, I have not yet worked with any of the plastics and it's been so long I've forgotten what the issue was.

Could somebody please remind me what glue works/doesn't?

For these kits use superglue, not polycement.
