    Default One of those days?

Man, wake up and great looking morning, making some coffee to give me that painting boost in the morning.

Sit down get all ready, and start a coat on model, work is coming along with some music in the background jamming out. Yeah, entire time I was dipping my brush in my coffee and not even noticing. >.<

    Booooo, lol.

My Mechanithrall has essence of coffee in his paint so he must be super epic.

Who else has done this or something like it.

You could be on to a new great strategy here. Think about it; one of those late night games, you start to feel a little drowsy, grab one of your models for a quick lick, and BAM, back in the game!

I'll admit I'm one of those that put the brush in my mouth to shape it. If I start dipping it in coffee or other beverages, I'll never stop painting! LOL

I've had a big ol' gulp of paint water instead of tea before, that was pretty mental... didn't taste too bad either.

Right there with you. I like taking a melatonin vitamin to get me sleepy, so if I don't have a cup of water handy I'll just take a quick swig from my wash water. Don't look at me like that. It says "NON-TOXIC" right on the side of the paint bottle.

I was using P3 Khador Red Highlight yesterday. I noticed it is sweet compared to most other P3 paints, but not as sweet as heartfire.

    Yup, I'm a brush licker.

Haha, same here. I always get the werid look when I have multi-colored lips from my brush.

I used to use the back of my hand as a dry brush pallete, anyone do that?
You don't kill models in eStryker's army, you simply open up charge lanes.

    fire4effekt, yep guilty as charged

I have also dipped a Basecoat Brush laden with paint whilst painting terrain right into a large mug full of great coffee...

Not only have I done the whole washing out my brush in my coffee, (yes I still drank the coffee anyway) I can prove there are worse mistakes

I once in my bedroom, loosening up the bearings on my skate with a can of WD40. After I finished I put the can down on a shelf.

In the morning I reached out to the shelf for my deodorant and yup, you guessed it! WD40 Pits....

I'm not good in the morning...

What really annoys me is when I sit down to paint and then I realize my lips are chapped. So I put on some chapstick and, realizing what I did, wipe it off before I gum up my brush. I've done that twice today, my lips are still chapped, and I'm tired of wasting my delicious, orange-pomegranate flavored chapstick.

I got myself a new lining brush for ultra small details. Got my model all set on his base and ready for the final details with the new brush, dipped the brush in the paint and started painting. To my horror the brush promptly stuck to the model since it was coated with superglue and not paint. Destroyed the brush and damaged the model...... now I keep my super glue (I use the kind with the brush built into the lid) on a separate tray from my paints.

I hold my minis with my left hand and constantly mix colors and re-point my brush by running it across my left thumb. Ive dipped my brush in my ice water, coffee, beer and have never taken a swig of my paint water but have gotten it near my lips before realizing what I was doing. Sometimes I worry about scraping mold lines near open top beverages....heavy metal in my drinking water.
