Simple question. Does Fear of God prevent the power attack from grab and smash, since its a special attack?
What about critical pitch?

I'm not 100% on the smash and grab - but I think it would stop that. However critical effects such as pitch it would not stop as the model is not making a power attack - the throw is just a result of a normal attack.

The same goes for Chain attacks since these are not special attacks. After both your initial 'normal' attacks you can immediately make a throw, push etc. This is no power attack but a result of the Chain attack rule (and therefor also no special attack).

it doesn't matter if its a chain attack or not. It only matters if its a special attack. A power attack is a special attack. So read the chain attack.
Chain Attack: Grab and Smash specifically says grants the ability to make a set of Power Attacks. Those are prevent. Since "can not" trumps "can or must". You can't use grab and smash while Fear of God is around.
On the other hand: Chain Attack: Smite is basically a slam. But it is not a slam power attack. Its only essentially the same effects of a slam.
