I just noticed my credit in this thread... I should point out that the first broken cypher, Khador, was mine... I broke the substitution cypher, then the flood came.

Hey guys. I see my post was made a bit more manageable :P

The computer that held all my original work is long since dead, and I am looking to start over new. I will be revisiting my old fonts and cleaning them up a bit, then looking into posting some other factions including Rhulic.

To this date, I still haven't received word that Rhulic is correct and I probably won't. I'll be sure to separate it from the other fonts so as to not confuse them with actual approved PP fonts.

After buying the Forces of WarMachine: Retribution book I see alot of glyphs around, so I'm going to try some tricks to squeeze an alphabet out of there. If I can, I'll post that up too.

As the HORDES books come out, I'll collect them to see if I can do the same for the other guys, with the noted exception of the Unicorns.

Okay, so bad news. I got a PM from one of you who dutifully reminded me I've been slacking on new updates. I was away at the time, so I came back yesterday to find that my old font installer program is no longer accepting my registration, and they want 75 bucks to "renew" it.

I found a new font creator program that is VERY different, and free... it'll take some getting used to. I'll work on it!

Just installed all four fonts - working great, thanks for your efforts!
Any news on the number systems? Would like to incorporate them onto my model bases to differentiate between similar units.

I would be willing to help with the Trollbloods one if you like. No idea where to start, but I have a linguistics degree, the free time and the book.

If only I knew anything about cyphers.

For simple substitution a good place to start is to compare the frequency of letters (check google). The most common symbol with probably be E, etc. Also you can look for double letters which probably indicates an L or T. A frequent three symbol repetition is probably THE. Once you get the first few letters it's just a big crossword puzzle of fill in the blank.

I'm having trouble finding a place on my program where I can save these fonts so that they'll work. I'm afraid I'm not very computer savvy.

That's almost certainly a custom font, but if you look on www.dafont.com under "Gothic > Modern Fonts" you should find two or three that are close enough to pass a cursory inspection.

EDIT: The one I'm using in my sig right now is an example of one such font; it's called Abaddon and it's free.

The font names that I found (I haven't researched most to see if they are made in-house, available for license purchasing, or free to use). I just got these names from viewing the fonts from Privateer Press' posted PDFs.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I've been going crazy trying to find the Iosan alphabet. Now the only thing I need to make my RoS army look snazzy is the symbol for House Vyre.
