Only if they deviate off her model entirely. If she is caught in the AOE at all (touched by the template) she is still hit, so WitchHound triggers...

And I agree that she is great against Hordes - Nothing in the game really messes with Warlocks quite like it - a Warlock sitting on 3 fury is pretty damn screwed unless they're really high natural DEF - if she hits with the first attack, you can steal one to boost the damage and most players will probably transfer (they should!), and your second shot can then deal boosted damage that can't be transferred... Once you've cleaned them out, you can finish them off with pretty much anything else you've got...

Pair that up with phantom hunter on her and you can arc spells on to targets you cannot see but are within spell range of your phoenix.

Phantom Hunter doesn't work on/with Arcnodes.

I'll have to remember the fury-stealing for transfer blockage. The meta in my area is growing, and I know of two active Hordes players (another guy does Trolls, and I do Legion in my off-time. Blame it on a career of playing Tyranids in 40k...) so my experience against them is limited.

Still, seeing as how vital transfers are, I can certianly vouch for the joy in denying them to the enemy. That can be a game winner, and Kae can certainly Phantom Hunter herself prior to make sure she gets all that off.

I can see Rift being useful when you're not playing against Legion or some of Circle's stuff, since slowing down heavy hitters is never a bad thing.

Went ahead and updated the main post to reflect the joy that shooting up Warlocks camping fury for transfers might be, should you pull it off.

You have to use phantom hunter on the warcaster. Their abilities dictate what abilities are used for determining LOS etc. So she can arc onto a stealthed model, and if you have pH you can arc through a building etc. However this does not work if the warjack has the spell on it.

Truesight works for Arcing, but Phantom Hunter doesn't.

Phantom Hunter allows you to ignore LoS when making an attack, but when Arcing the LoS is based on the jacks, not Kaelyssas, so you don't get to use her 'ability' to ignore LoS.
(If it's on Kaelyssa, the fact she ignores LoS when making attacks doesn't factor in as you don't use her 'LoS'; if it's on the jack, then the jack isn't making an attack so doesn't benefit from Phantom Hunter)

2) I believe that the idea is to take a model with Disruption (ie, eEiryss) and use it against the Hydra after the Domination.

With regards to tacticas and like threads mods generally are ok with necromancy for those since new things come out and new synergies come up which reminds me.....
