Maybe this thread would benefit from a more narrow focus? Perhaps?
I nearly ruined my monitor with my drink after reading that response (because I read it as "Maybe this thread would benefit from a more narrow font")
As far as tactics, most casters play relatively the same and stick with the same basic tactics miinus or plus a few nuances except for the Coven and Epic Deneghra. (not counting Epic Goreshade who I still a little perplexed about)
As far as new tricks for the toolbox (at least for my regularly played casters)...
Epic Skarre getting Perdition allows her jacks Mortenebra like movement and threat angles.
Epic Deneghra got a lot more debuffs (but lost all her her CMD related debuffs and spells) and also picked up Pursuit for her battelgroup. This means she can be a little more of support caster and she also rival Mortenbra for using jacks like Nightmare in an assasination role.
Drudges and Overlords are casualties of MKII. They have gone marginal/useful in certain builds to why bother.
ok i think some new trick might get out with mk2 but it seem that not the case ......im alone in my imaginary world lol
Its not a 'kill-tactic', but having Goreshade Soulgate any badly damaged jacks backwards to the friendly Necrotech has been working a treat for me. Lets me keep the NTech safely at the back & get even more out of my mk2 jacks.

Mini Killing-spree on Bloodgourgers: Black Spot an enemy unit with eSkarre, charge in with Slaughterborn then the Gorgers. Overtake + Black Spot makes 4 potential attacks per gorger while within 9 inches of Gerlak. (Charge > Overtake > Black Spot > Overtake > Normal > Overtake > Black Spot Overtake), potentialy clearing out a lot of infantry.
