Default A Couple of Questions About Grind?

    Hi there all,
I currently play Warmachine and Hordes. But I have also started looking at Grind.
There isnt anyone else around that plays yet but Im hoping to get a couple interested.
But before I buy I have a couple of questions.

    Whats the game like?
    How does it play?
    Any other thoughts or advice?

    Thanks in advance

The game plays like a fast paced sports game with a lot of cool combos. The pieces are sweet and the game is raft to pickup on (if you play mini games). It will take you a couple of games to get the feel for the mechanics but after that you will be spending your time thinking up new configurations and plays to use.

My advice is for you to play with the standard rules in the box before trying to play the XGL rules and have a lot of fun.

Seriously, if you play WM/H this is going to be a laid back fun game.

No thread hijack intended, because, like hendybadger, I am interested in this game.

    What is XGL rules?
(I've never played Grind - WM/H fan here)

No problem. I doubt this thread is going to get too side tracked. XGL stands for Extreme Grind League and the rules are found on the Grind home page here.

If you get a chance to demo it I highly suggest you do.
